Hello.

I’m Baek Won-jang from Rev Dental Clinic, the dental clinic of dreams.

Signiel Seoul The Lounge is located on the 79th floor of Lotte World Tower, and it used to be so popular for its view that people had to wait in line to eat there. It’s known as a place where, if you pay KRW 20,000 for one cup of coffee, it’s almost as good as visiting an observatory. Haha.

Actually, about a year ago, I went to STAY for my wife’s birthday. It’s on the 81st floor, and since it has a view of the Han River(?), the nighttime city view around sunset is really worth seeing.

This time, I joined the Signiel Club. I heard membership allows you to use the restaurant on the 107th floor, but this time I’ll just write about my visit to The Lounge on the 79th floor. The Signiel Club gives a 10% discount at The Lounge.

Signiel Seoul The Lounge

There’s probably no one in Korea who doesn’t know where it is. Haha.

Signiel, now widely used as a pre-wedding proposal hotspot (?), is located on the 79th floor.

The name of the building is Lotte World Tower, and the hotel using several dozen floors of it should be called Signiel Seoul.!!

Exterior

If you park with valet in front of Signiel Seoul, they’ll direct you straight to the elevator that takes you from the 1st floor to the 79th floor.

On the 79th floor are the hotel concierge and The Lounge, and on the 81st floor are the Korean restaurant Bicena and the Western restaurant STAY, connected by stairs.

When you visit for the first time, the open view makes you feel really good.

I really, really love the luxurious gray-toned marble(?) interior inside.

Even the herringbone floor... it’s a place that brings in everything that can create a feeling of luxury without holding back.

Anyway, it’s such a great space.

Interior

I heard the window seats were reserved? So we only used it for about an hour.

The seat we’re in now is a hall seat, and the sofa is big, spacious, very comfortable, and nice.

Signiel Seoul The Lounge is a great place no matter when you visit. A masterpiece, perhaps?

The Signiel Seoul The Lounge menu is quite long... so I only took photos of the pages with the items I ordered today.

I wanted salad for the first time in a while, so after thinking about it, I ordered one.

First, I chose the black sesame–scented beet and chickpea purée salad, chicory, couscous, bell pepper, and grapefruit!

Sandwiches cost KRW 40,000 to 50,000. With my wife’s choice, we ordered the truffle-scented Monte Cristo sandwich with truffle fries, chicken ham, Gruyère cheese, and truffle pâté.

The menu name is quite...........ㅎㅎ

I chose what I wanted to eat, so I ordered the oven-baked cod fillet and clam chowder.

Let’s start the meal!!!

Since my wife wanted a window seat, we moved to this table.

We were on a 1 hour and 30 minute time attack.

They say you need a reservation for the window seats~~ But if you visit, I’d recommend the much better wide middle seats with the long sofa, where you can enjoy the hotel interior.

The window seats are narrow, and the chairs are uncomfortable~

The pre-meal bread arrived!

I noticed that the tableware had been brought from France. Haha.

If I remember correctly, it seems to be the bread and butter I had at STAY last year?

It also reminds me a bit of the bread from Pierre Gagnaire Seoul, which I visited two years ago....

Anyway, if you want to feel the pleasure of French cuisine, I think Lotte is the best among hotels.

After waiting a little, the three dishes we ordered appeared!

Each one has a fairly striking visual, right? Haha.

Black sesame–scented beet and chickpea purée salad, chicory, couscous, bell pepper, grapefruit (KRW 37,000)

The one with the very long name.

The layer on the bottom seems to be the chickpea purée. The pink color was so pretty~

On top of it, beet, chicory, couscous, bell pepper, grapefruit, and more are beautifully sliced and placed.

At this price, it had better be good.

And it is delicious.

The chickpea purée had a notably good flavor. It’s a great salad before a meal!!!

Personally, that pink beet was really delicious~

It somehow tasted even better than elsewhere..

Anyway, it was a tasty dish worth the price.

Truffle-scented Monte Cristo sandwich with truffle fries, chicken ham, Gruyère cheese, and truffle pâté (KRW 50,000)

This is the combination of truffle fries + Monte Cristo that my wife, who loves fries, wanted to order.

KRW 50,000 is indeed an amazing price, but a typical Monte Cristo toast spot costs around KRW 15,000 to 20,000, and fries cost KRW 10,000 to 15,000... still expensive, right?

Anyway, it was shocking that they generously topped it with truffle without being stingy.

You can see the Monte Cristo toast, fried nicely all the way through without burning.

There was so much truffle on the fries that some was left over after eating. It was truly a luxurious dish.

At first, I thought it had chocolate spread on it.....

But that wasn’t it; it was a sandwich with layers of chicken ham, cheese, and more.

It was really delicious! A layered and excellent flavor.

The fries should be eaten with the truffle carefully placed on top like that.

For reference, that ketchup was an Australian product, and the company had a 200-year history.

Oven-baked cod fillet and clam chowder (KRW 65,000)

I ordered this because it reminded me of the clam chowder I ate seven years ago when I went to San Francisco with classmates from school. I wanted that rich clam chowder~..

A very plump, fresh cod was fried well in a thin batter.

Both the clam chowder and the oven-baked cod were delicious.

I did feel a little disappointed that the cod could have been a bit more moist,

but well. At a price like this, it shouldn’t taste bad, so of course (?) it was delicious!

Finally, apple juice and iced latte...

The freshly squeezed juice at Signiel Seoul The Lounge is truly, truly top quality.

Once you taste it, you’ll naturally say, Ah! This is real freshly squeezed juice. Haha.

Unboxing the Signiel Club

One of the reasons I visited Signiel Seoul after a while was that I recently received my Signiel Club membership card.

A nice box arrived quickly in a stylish shopping bag,

A white card was sparkling inside. Haha.

There are various benefits, but the main one is, of course, being able to use the private dining & bar.

I’m thinking of coming here for my wife’s birthday this year~..

And if you bring the membership card, you get a 10% discount at all facilities inside Signiel.

So I was able to get a 10% discount at Signiel Seoul The Lounge this time as well!

So now I have both the white and black cards. Haha.

I’ve become a loyal Lotte member.

And I’ll show you information about the partnered credit cards for Signiel Seoul valet parking~

Most of the cards are beyond-the-ordinary cards. Ones you don’t really get to see in everyday life..

But there’s a very welcome card, right? Hahaha. The KB Kookmin Card Heritage Reserve card I posted about recently is exactly the one used here. Since it also offers valet parking at Signiel Seoul, it’s a pretty good card!

Lotte Hotel Membership - Trevi Club

If you follow the link, you’ll see that Signiel Club and Trevi Club clearly have different benefits.

Looking only at restaurant discounts,

In the case of Lotte Hotel Membership Trevi Club, restaurant discounts of 20–10% are offered depending on the number of visitors.

In most cases, you can get a 20% discount including the bakery, so it’s really great. However, it only applies to 'Lotte Hotel.'

In the case of the Signiel Club, there is a 10% discount on Signiel Seoul restaurant charges, but for 'Lotte Hotel' it only gives 10% off. It’s a bit more versatile, but the discount is smaller. It’s a card more optimized for Signiel.

Lotte Hotel Seoul Peninsula Lounge

Lotte Hotel Seoul Peninsula Lounge is also a very pleasant space!

Its features are a waterfall visible outside the window, a large painting on the wall, and the frequent presence of performers?

Usually, as part of the premium service for the Lotte Diamond Card,

people come here to enjoy this benefit, but today we came to eat the Gorgonzola pizza. It’s a great spot!

A truly excellent whole pizza comes out.

The Gorgonzola pizza is KRW 45,000.

With the Lotte Hotel membership discount, it becomes KRW 36,000!

It’s about the same price as a large Domino’s pizza.

Personally, I was so disappointed when I had a big disappointment with a Domino’s pizza promotion that I don’t eat it anymore....

Since they use good ingredients, the taste can’t help but be good~

Eating delicious food in a wonderful space made for a really enjoyable time.

Oh, right! Lotte Hotel Seoul also offers valet parking with the KB Kookmin Card Heritage Reserve card I showed you earlier!

Please keep that in mind :)

Conclusion

Signiel Seoul has now become my hideout!!ㅋ

After joining the Signiel Club, The Lounge, which I visited as a celebration, had food that was better than I expected.

Of course, it’s a price at which it should be delicious... but when combined well with a credit card, it seems like there’s no place better for a comfortable meal and coffee in a spacious seat with convenient parking.

Although I included them in the same post, the Peninsula Lounge on the first floor of Lotte Hotel Seoul is also a truly pleasant place.

At this spot across from La Seine, if you bring the Lotte Hotel membership card, you can enjoy meals at a pretty reasonable price. Also, as I remember, they take orders until around 9:30... so people like me who work late after nighttime clinic hours should also be able to get a good meal late at night!
