Hello.
When it comes to laminates? This is Dr. Baek from Leve Dental Clinic.
In this short post, I’m going to share a review of the Gimpo International Airport Sky Hub Lounge, which is somewhat hard to get into..(!?) Since it’s not a very large lounge, I’ll just briefly introduce what it looks like and what the menu is like!
Sky Hub Lounge Gimpo Airport Branch
This trip was Gimpo - Osaka.
The lounge you can see right when you enter Gimpo International Airport is the Sky Hub Lounge, but it’s surprisingly hard to go in.
-
First of all, it’s hard to arrive at Gimpo International Airport early.. because I’m lazy......
-
I don’t have many chances to fly internationally from Gimpo. Tokyo or Osaka.. that kind of trip..
-
Even if the two conditions above are met, there’s usually a long line, so even if I want to use it, I just never seem to get the chance!!!!
Anyway, this time I finally got to go in~

This is what the Sky Hub Lounge looks like.
You’ve probably seen it many times. When you actually try to go in, you usually have to wait in line a bit~~
Since we had an early morning flight, there were fewer people, so we were able to go in once!
The Marriott Bonvoy Shinhan Card The Best also allows one accompanying guest,
but if you use the Hyundai Card Heritage Reserve I introduced last time, you can bring in up to two accompanying guests!
If you combine it with another lounge card, even a family of four can get in easily~~!!!

The seating area you see now takes up most of the lounge.
It’s not a large space, but the seats are arranged a bit like a study room, so there are quite a lot of seats.
You can easily find a spot for the two of us to sit!

The first thing that greets you is, of course, Shin Ramyun - fried udon - Ojjom - Jjapaghetti cup noodles. Haha.
Whenever you meet them in a lounge, they’re always welcome~
Second, you can see beverages in small cans.

There aren’t many menu items, but each one tastes pretty good.
If there are lots of options but the taste isn’t great.. that also makes the experience less enjoyable~~
The fried rice and chicken dishes tasted good. I was surprised at how well the fried rice was made.
I was the only one taking photos this earnestly ㅠㅠ It was a little embarrassing...

There were some simple fried items, like French fries and more. If you’re Korean, these are the kinds of things you’ll enjoy eating~..
Waffles, toast, and sandwiches were also available, and they were popular.

This soup tteokbokki is surprisingly delicious!
Before departure.. I’m grateful that I could eat Korean-style snacks...
Please try the fried gimbap rolls, sweet potato fries, and even the spicy fish cake, one by one.

One notable feature was that there was a bibimbap corner.
It couldn’t have been easy to prepare each ingredient like this in advance.. But if you eat a bowl of bibimbap with gochujang on top before leaving for another country, it might feel like you don’t even need the airplane meal.

At the same time, there was also a salad corner on one side, which felt a little out of place (?)
The ingredients looked surprisingly fresh, which was nice to see. I didn’t eat it, though..
They also generously provided strawberry jam and butter..

There were two kinds of juice.
And if you look next to it, there’s milk and cereal too? It’s a place where you can enjoy things according to your own taste!

What was also quite impressive was that vodka and Ilpoom Jinro were neatly displayed like this.
There were also fresh-looking lemon slices, so if you want, you can even make a cocktail with Ilpoom Jinro.
If you have this and then take a short nap, you’ll probably wake up and already be there, right? Haha

Two kinds of white wine and two kinds of red wine were also available.
I didn’t try them, but I’ll save that for a tasting next time...h...

This place even offers TERRA draft beer.. making it feel like a bar in a subtle way...
Sitting down and having a drink naturally puts you in the mood for travel.

So my wife and I didn’t plan to eat much, but we ended up taking one plate like this,
then got one more plate each and ate until we were full before heading to Osaka......
I’m posting this so you can eat well before going to Japan ^^
As mentioned earlier, this is the Sky Hub Lounge, which is close by but somehow hard to get into.
The line gets long when you want to go in.... Still, once you’re inside, it’s not a quality you’ll regret.
Sometimes, when you visit lounges around the world where entry is possible with The Lounge, there are some underwhelming ones.. But maybe because this is a lounge in Korea used by Koreans, I personally thought it was pretty good.
Shopping duty-free is nice, but if you want to sit back and wait for your flight before traveling, this seems pretty good!
Thank you for reading this long post today.
That’s the everyday life of Dr. Baek, the dentist!!
