[Lotte Hotel Seoul] La Seine - A buffet tastes best when you go because you’re craving it! Review of a wife’s birthday dinner buffet visit. Using a Trevi Club coupon.

It had been a long time... almost 20 months since I last visited. I went when I was hungry because it was the birthday of an important person!!!

Here’s my review of La Seine, a great restaurant at Lotte Hotel Seoul, which was still just as delicious.

I visited in September!

Lotte Hotel Seoul La Seine

Location: 1st floor, Main Tower, Lotte Hotel Seoul, 30 Eulji-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul

Parking: Valet parking available.

There was a post I uploaded recently, right?

It was about the KB Card Heritage Reserve post. This card is actually pretty good.

You may not be able to fully recoup the annual fee of 800,000 won (!?), but you can add two companions and use the lounge, and the valet parking service is also excellent.

If you have this card when visiting Lotte Hotel, you can receive valet parking for free. And valet parking is also available at Signiel Seoul!!! Please keep that in mind~

I also signed up for the Lotte Hotel Trevi Club again this year, and used two free buffet meal vouchers to visit. ^^

Exterior

As planned in the lobby, I handed over the car for valet parking and went inside. If you turn to the right, you’ll find La Seine.

This was already my nth visit. It’s a place that’s always enjoyable, no matter when you go...? haha

Interior

There are window seats, private rooms, and more... Make sure to reserve well when booking!

We just visited whenever we felt like going without making a reservation, and maybe because we had a baby, we were seated in a corner.

We received one cocktail (highball) and one glass of wine each as welcome drinks.

And if you bring a baby, they bring out a familiar chair.

The staff treated the baby so kindly, which was really nice. I like Lotte Hotel~

Meal time begins!!!

Now let’s take a look around Lotte Hotel Seoul La Seine, where one person’s meal can come close to 200,000 won!

The first stop is Chinese food. I really like the Chinese dishes at La Seine.

Sweet and sour pork and chicken dishes (I think it’s a bit different from ggangpoonggi.)

Deep-fried shrimp... not ganpo shrimp, but cream mayo shrimp..?

And I didn’t try the dish on the right because it looked a little intimidating...

As expected from Lotte Hotel Seoul La Seine, which is strong in Chinese cuisine, there was also steamed fish.

The fried rice quality is good! It’s well stir-fried and when you eat it, you can’t help but think it’s excellent.

And then there are dim sum with a pretty appealing look!!

I didn’t open them myself... but the photo came out really well!?!?!

This is probably what made Lotte Hotel La Seine famous (?!)—you can see grilled lobster... and there’s also a very generous amount of king crab prepared.

Both dishes had excellent yield, with plenty of meat and great flavor!

And another main dish: LA galbi and braised short ribs~

These are Korean dishes I really like...^^

I didn’t take any, but there were two kinds of oven-baked pizza.

Well... pizza eaten at a Lotte Hotel lounge is always delicious, so I feel like it would taste good even without trying it ^^

And so, here was my first plate, carefully filled!

Even though I only picked out things that looked truly delicious, it was still piled high.

I quickly ate it all... and went for round two, right?

One of another pride points of Lotte Hotel Seoul La Seine: lamb chops!~

They come out really generously, and they looked so delicious.

It wasn’t as good as the lamb chops at the Westin Parnas I’m staying at now... but still tasty.

And another thing I always eat plenty of whenever I come to La Seine is these fried shrimp. haha

The shrimp are substantial, so they’re delicious. The batter is also in really good condition.

As Asian food, there were curry and naan, and if you wanted, they would also make pho for you.

This place is surprisingly strong in Korean food, and the Lotte Hotel kimchi is pretty good too.

From yukhoe to japchae and cucumber kimchi. There were a wide variety of dishes that I kept going back to, and they were tasty!

Right next to it is the salad corner.

Smoked salmon is, of course, a must-have... haha

On the right is a Thai-style shrimp salad. It’s a shrimp festival.

Personally, I don’t really like salad, so I didn’t eat much,

but I thought it was interesting that there was a salad loaded with abalone like that ^^

And that completed my second plating.

The curry and naan were better than I expected~ Looking again, I see there were even fried sweet potatoes. haha

The place I went to for my third plate was the Japanese corner!

As you can see, the sashimi is prepared really well.

The right one was yellowtail, I think..

The sweet shrimp and salmon sashimi in the photo came out a little red, but they were personally very delicious.

It was especially great to be able to eat so much sweet shrimp.

Oh right! I hadn’t noticed it earlier, but when I turned around after getting the lobster, right behind me was Peking duck!!

Wow... there really is everything at La Seine. The dinner buffet is truly the best. It tasted pretty good too.

On the right is crab meat soup, and although it seems like a side dish... it has more crab meat than expected and tastes really good!

This was my third plate, even though I’m someone who can’t actually finish three plates.

La Seine was in really good condition.

It was more delicious than I expected... and it made me love Lotte Hotel, which I already liked, even more.......

The bakery corner doesn’t look huge, but it has everything you need.

The butter and jam are both excellent... and I liked that the various breads were neatly kept in boxes.

When they’re left out, they somehow look unhygienic.

On the right, you can see various puddings and even honey (!?).

It really is a place that has everything...

And you know this, right? There’s a coffee station, so you can freely have unlimited Americanos or lattes!

As of September, there were grapefruit, tangerines, figs, melon, and kiwi...

This place is serious about fruit too, just like most hotel buffets.

Of course, the fruits I had in Osaka were tastier..... but they were sweet enough to feel carefully selected, as you’d expect from its reputation.

After eating three plates generously and feeding the baby a bit too... it’s time for dessert, right? haha

The first corner is ice cream. The many toppings are eye-catching, but what stood out even more was that there were quite a few different ice cream flavors.

Lotte Hotel Seoul La Seine is surprisingly serious about dessert.

The mont blancs and tarts, limited to 100 pieces per day...

The outer glass felt a bit dated, which I didn’t like, but the desserts inside were in great condition!

And another thing I really appreciate is this.....

They let you taste the cakes sold at Delica Hans, the Lotte Hotel Seoul bakery right next to the buffet. Of course, we’re not cutting up a whole cake to eat it.

If you ask for specific items, they’ll take out pre-portioned cake slices and give them to you.

At the time, there was an fig cake. If you try it here and like it, go buy it at Delica Hans. haha

If you have Lotte Hotel membership, Trevi Club, bakery items are also 20% off!

And so, here’s my review after bringing dessert as well and ending up eating four plates....

Of course, the free buffet voucher from Trevi Club was also a coupon I bought with my own money, but today I really got my money’s worth....

I ate so, so well today too.!!!

Conclusion

Lotte Hotel Seoul La Seine was in excellent condition again today!!

At some point, I had the idea that Lotte Hotel Seoul La Seine had gotten worse... but when I visited in 2023 and again this year, 2025, I experienced truly satisfying meals.

The main dishes, which are as good as any hotel’s, and the dessert selection full of sincerity made me think, “This is Lotte!”

In the case of the 750,000 won Trevi Club food-and-beverage plan I purchased, it includes two adult buffet meal vouchers.

I used them well this time, and our baby, who had just turned one, was able to enter for free and eat until full (?) with us.

In many ways, we just came without much planning, but it was such a happy review because we ate so well and left satisfied ^^

It seems like a great place to go once or twice a year when there’s an event.

There are also private rooms, so it’s optimized for gatherings of adults too! Go and enjoy lots of delicious food~~!!!
