[Mandapa Ritz-Carlton Reserve Part 2] Touring the Main Pool, Heated Pool (Hidden!!), Sauna, and More!

Hello.

I’m Dr. Baek from Leve Dental Clinic, the tooth-whitening mecca near Sinsa Station.

Following Part 1 of Mandapa Ritz-Carlton Reserve, where I introduced the Reserve Suite accommodation, in Part 2 I’ll briefly introduce the facilities other than the room.

In particular, the "heated pool" is in a hidden location, so many people don’t know where it is. I’ll introduce it well so you can enjoy some private time!!

Main Pool

The main pool we took a quick look at while heading out after dinner.

As you’d expect from a top hotel, the water is really, really clean.

As far as I know, luxury hotels like this usually keep the pool so well maintained that there are no more than three visible foreign particles while swimming.

The dining area next to it is outdoors too, and it looks this wonderful. ^^

When day breaks, this main pool is a place you have to go every day, so we quickly head out.

My wife absolutely loves playing in the water~~ haha

On the way, there’s a restaurant on the left.

It really gives off an Indonesian vibe, right?

On the right, you can see the main pool, and they provide food there.

Shall we go take a look~?

You can choose whichever seat you like among the many covered spots with canopies.

The outdoor main pool has graceful curved lines.

It’s the very heart of a hotel staycation.

Next to the large main pool, there’s also a somewhat smaller area. Families were playing there.

I’m guessing... the water was a bit shallower there.

Mandapa Ritz-Carlton Reserve seems like a great place to come with family too!

Where should we go~~ while choosing,

we picked the farthest seat.

Actually, it was the same at Bulgari Bali too...

This place truly feels like heaven.....

If you see 1–2 people at Bulgari Bali, here you’ll see 3–4 people.

It’s just so nice... I miss that time... haha

The complimentary coconut set!!!

The fruit is pretty, but the taste is a little lacking.

The lettering that symbolizes Mandapa looks so beautiful, so I took a photo ㅎㅎㅎ

I like this one better than the hot pink W Bali coconut.

This is also an Italian gem.

I absolutely... recommend trying it!!!

At the poolside bar, we usually... no, always order the Margherita pizza...

We were thinking of ordering it again this time, but?

We decided on a pizza topped with prosciutto, and it costs about KRW 32,000. It’s cheaper than Lotte Hotel Seoul.

I’m sharing several menu items in case it’s helpful.

They bring out bread before the meal, and it felt like they were showing off how good the dough is. ㅎㅎ

It was really chewy and delicious... it naturally made me think, “Then the pizza must be delicious too, right?!”

And there was also a side dish that would go well with the pizza.

You could think of it as something like pickles, right?

Wow!!! It really looks delicious........ It’s seriously the real deal.

If you try it, you’ll be moved. You’ll probably think they’re really serious about Italian food here....

What my wife and I both thought after eating was, ah.... we should have eaten more delicious things at Bulgari Bali.

That was it. haha

Even this ice cream they bring out after the meal is a treat.

The poolside bar at Mandapa Ritz-Carlton Reserve is simply a great place to eat. hahaha

It felt like it might rain a little, so it wasn’t too hot, and we actually had a great time enjoying the jungle.

On the second day we went, they gave us fruit like this? It looks like that, but it’s delicious. ㅎㅎ

What is it called...

Outside the pool area, there’s a farm.

It looked like people who seemed to be farmers were working there.

The wooden-colored building you can see in the distance is like a gym (?) where various activities are held.

Green never gets old no matter how many times I look at it ^^

If you go down a secret stone staircase, you can see a river... I’ll explain what this place is a little later~

We spent time playing in the grassy area like that without realizing how time passed.

It was a happy time even looking back at it. Happy times, indeed. haha

YOGA and GYM

The space you reach by walking down the stone staircase.

It’s a hidden space, where you can do spa treatments, yoga, sauna, relax while looking at the water, and more.

It’s a multipurpose relaxation area, and you really need to enjoy this place well!!!!!!!!!

I really recommend this place.

A lot of people surprisingly don’t know about it, but the more you know, the more of a hidden gem it becomes. ㅎㅎ

When you go inside, there’s a space where you can look down at the river from the lobby as well.

But it was raining a lot... I’m not sure if it’s always like that, but the river water was muddy. haha

From the lobby, you can purchase the amenities used at the spa.

I don’t have an eye for it... so even when I looked, I wasn’t sure if they were good ㅠ.ㅠ

It’s a versatile space with various facilities such as yoga, spa, sauna, and a heated pool.

A staff member kindly explains the space in person.

There are signs, so you won’t get confused.

If you go up, there’s the YOGA area and the GYM, and the changing room includes a SAUNA.

The heated pool is on the very top floor!!

If you don’t go up here and just keep going straight, you’ll come to a hidden area.

It’s just... a place to rest while having a small snack.

If I had to compare it, I’d say it’s like an executive lounge?

There are so many places to relax here that it really gives strong staycation vibes!!!!

I enter the men’s sauna entrance.

The refrigerator is full of water, and the towels are displayed in a way that makes them easy to use.

Even though there weren’t many users, there were plenty of lockers, so the environment stayed comfortable.

The restroom was very clean and even had a sink.

A space where you can dry and tidy your hair. They even had Dyson here too...

It seemed like you could see outside from inside the sauna.

A structure where you can sit on a wooden chair and sweat it out..

I thought it would be nice to have a facility like this at home...

And the shower room was also incredibly spacious~~ The amenities are the same as the ones in the room!

We didn’t use the sauna or the gym.

Our goal was the rooftop heated pool at the very top!!!!

It’s such an amazing place..

So quiet, with birds chirping, and a place where you can relax and gaze at the water...

Even looking back, it’s still so nice...

When we were there, it was so quiet it felt like no one else was around,

and when we left our seats, someone would immediately come and neatly tidy everything up.

As far as I know, each guest party has two or three staff members assigned to them. That means they take care of every little thing.

My wife especially loved it.

Creating and maintaining a pretty pool like this with such small tiles isn’t easy....

It was truly a space where we enjoyed luxury over and over again. ^^

As I walked around every corner, I understood why this is called a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

The Ritz-Carlton itself is already so luxurious and wonderful... but the beauty of a thoughtfully designed Reserve space that captures local character to the fullest! I think that’s why Ritz-Carlton Reserve is so loved.

Personally, I liked the outdoor pool at Bulgari Bali a little more, but this place was also an incredibly wonderful space!!

And come to think of it, the outdoor pool at Ritz-Carlton Singapore was also quite a wonderful and beautiful place... haha

Anyway, the poolside bar pizza was so delicious, and the quiet heated pool was so peaceful and great that I wouldn’t want to tell anyone about it!!!
