I’m Director Baek of Lev Dental Clinic at Sinsa Station, a renowned destination for teeth whitening.

This is a brief post. I recently visited the lounge at Josun Palace—here is my review of 1914 Lounge & Bar.

It had been a while since my last visit, but it was still just as enjoyable. This is clearly the ambitious luxury collection prepared by Josun Hotel!

Josun Palace 1914 Lounge & Bar

It’s been a little less than three years, hasn’t it? I visited Josun Palace when I proposed, and it was a great success~~ haha.

I have only stayed here once, but this is my nth restaurant visit.

Location: 24th floor, Josun Palace, 231 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

Parking: Valet parking available. (Four hours of complimentary parking)

It’s a magnificent building standing tall on Teheran-ro, isn’t it?

Using 1914 Lounge & Bar provides four hours of complimentary parking.

The underground parking area is exceptionally well maintained, so there’s something satisfying about parking yourself when you visit~ However, the only cards that still offer complimentary valet parking are the Hyundai Black Card and Amex Centurion Black, so you can almost always only use paid valet parking here.

Interior

I visited in the late afternoon and was assigned a seat in front of the piano.

The ceiling is high, and it’s an exceptionally clean and tidy space every time I visit. The high ceilings also create a view overlooking Gangnam that I enjoyed even more after seeing it again for the first time in a while~

I always make sure to take a photo of my wife! Haha, I took a little concept shot.

The weather was clear, so the expansive view stretching far into the distance felt wonderfully refreshing!

We came for a late-afternoon meal.

After some deliberation, we ordered Salmon Cream Spaghetti and the 1914 Premium Burger.

Looking at the back of the menu, you can also see that it’s apple mango bingsu season here. It costs 130,000 won—a top-tier price.

Let’s begin the meal!!!

The basic table setting is neat and clean.

The subtly hidden “1914” lettering is striking.

Salmon Cream Spaghetti (42,000 won)

This is salmon cream spaghetti. It was topped with seven pieces of grilled salmon in total.

It had a distinctive, slightly tangy flavor.

Since it was cream spaghetti, I imagined an intensely rich and savory taste, but it was unexpectedly sweet and tangy.

Hotel spaghetti really does taste good ^^

1914 Premium Burger (49,000 won)

In a way, this could be called the signature burger—a burger with a skewer bearing the “1914” lettering.

I ordered this one because I was told that the triple cheeseburger doesn’t contain any vegetables.

The fries are definitely in a class of their own.

They were thick, hearty fries that felt like something you would eat in the United States!! The tomato ketchup was also so delicious... truly good.

I pulled it apart halfway to show the cross-section.

The properly cooked beef sirloin patty tasted very good, with a flavor that could be called the perfect standard.

I seem to remember that there were two mini burgers when I visited in the past... (Am I remembering correctly?) I was much more satisfied this time.

After happily finishing both dishes, we decided to order one more bubble tea.

Since it’s Jeju apple mango season, three beverages had been launched.

I ordered the Hibiscus Passion Mango Bubble Tea!

Hibiscus Passion Mango Bubble Tea (24,000 won)

As described, this bubble tea combines Jeju-grown apple mango, passion fruit, hibiscus, and coconut jelly.

This drink was sweet and refreshing—it was something special. It was truly delicious.

It wasn’t the kind of bubble tea with tapioca pearls that I had imagined; instead, the sweet coconut jelly moved deliciously around my mouth.

We had another truly delicious meal today.!!!

Conclusion

A good time with good company~

1914 Lounge at Josun Palace, which I visited again after a long time.

It was still a clean, quiet, and modern space, with exceptionally pleasant service.

The food was delicious, and the bubble tea was excellent too. There really wasn’t anything to criticize about the place.

Parking: Valet parking available. Four hours of complimentary parking provided.

I don’t have a credit card affiliated with the valet parking service (though there probably aren’t many people who do...), so I wasn’t able to use the partner valet service. However, four hours of complimentary parking are provided when using the lounge. That’s quite generous, isn’t it?

Also, Club Josun members can receive a 10% discount. I received a 10% discount on the 115,000-won bill and used a 100,000-won voucher, so my actual payment was 3,500 won.

Anyway, I had a great date and enjoyed myself~
