Seoul Sinsa Station [레브치과]: A Dental Clinic Where 20 People Can Undergo Teeth Whitening at the Same Time

If you open one container of Osstem Beautis 15 like this, it contains enough product for approximately two to three people. (According to Osstem’s recommendations.)

And once it is opened, it immediately begins to activate. The longer it remains open, the less effective it becomes.

Therefore, the more teeth whitening a dental clinic performs, the more likely it is to use fresh whitening products, right? It is similar to visiting a dermatology clinic with many patients, where you are more likely to receive treatment using the latest equipment and freshly produced medication.

Today, while reviewing around five teeth-whitening cases, I will go over some cases of patients who received teeth whitening.

Woman in Her 50s

We had many middle-aged patients visit today.

Wow! This is a rare case. The patient had slight tetracycline discoloration, and her teeth were darker than expected.

The color was quite dark—dark enough that she was even considering veneers. What happened!?

If the color can improve this much, I wonder if anyone would choose not to try teeth whitening.

The shade guide consists of five shades: A1, A2, A3, A3.5, and A4.

Although the tones look somewhat different, the improvement really does seem dramatic.

Be sure to check the result using the shade guide as a reference.

Woman in Her 20s

The photo above was taken before teeth whitening. Compared with A2, there are many areas that look darker, right? Approximately A3.

The photo itself was taken under somewhat brighter conditions. There can be slight differences each time a DSLR is used. Therefore, you should compare the teeth with the A2 shade guide for an accurate assessment. (The shade guide would become brighter too, after all.)

The teeth look similar in color to A2, showing an improvement of approximately one shade level. You can see that the white spots stand out more.

These white spots can be treated with Icon resin!

A search on Google will bring up many examples, but this can generally be treated in this way using infiltrating resin.

Man in His 40s

The effect of teeth whitening seems to diminish somewhat with age.

As the teeth become more mineralized, it feels as though they respond less to the whitening agent.

Although an A1 shade cannot always be guaranteed after three whitening treatments in one day, this patient achieved A1 despite being a man in his 40s!

At this level, the difference is noticeable to the people around him.

This case ended with a bright result, with the teeth becoming slightly more translucent and gaining a sparkling appearance.

This was also a somewhat difficult case.

The patient was a woman in her 40s, and her tooth color appeared to be around A3.5–A4.

Since most people in Korea are around A3–A3.5, her teeth could be considered somewhat darker than average.

They also had a slightly mottled appearance, so I thought improvement might be difficult.

When checking whether a result has turned out well, compare the teeth with a shade guide whose colors do not change.

You can see that the shade, which initially appeared to be around A3.5, brightened to approximately A2.

When teeth whitening goes well, the teeth become more translucent and slight crack lines may begin to appear.

The teeth-whitening product is approved by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, so it does not cause cracks in the teeth. (If it did, it would not have been approved.)

However, as the color becomes brighter, existing cracks become easier to see. → This can always be confirmed in photographs!

Teenage Girl

Today’s final patient! A teenage girl.

As you know, parental consent is not required from age 19, but it is required before then.

Her teeth appeared to be exactly A3 in color.

Wow, the difference between A2 and A4 feels quite striking...

It looks as though her teeth brightened almost to A1, doesn’t it?

Teeth whitening definitely produces more dramatic results when the patient is younger and when it is their first time undergoing the procedure.

Although many white spots, which are signs of early tooth decay, were visible, the patient was satisfied with the result.

Teeth whitening generally makes the teeth visibly brighter.

The teeth-whitening products we use at Sinsa Station 레브치과, including Osstem Beautis, have been approved by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for product safety and are widely regarded as products that can be used with confidence.

In general, A3 seems to brighten to around A1.5, while A3.5 seems to brighten to around A2.
