I’m Dr. Baek from Leve Dental Clinic at Sinsa Station, known as the destination for teeth whitening.

Here is a fresh review. I went to Grand Hyatt Seoul to have apple mango bingsu.

Every year from June, Shinhan Card runs an event where you can enjoy shaved ice at luxury hotels at a discounted price while using your complimentary luxury-hotel drink vouchers.

I had a great time last year as well, and after waiting for this year’s event, I hurried over as soon as I saw that it had been announced. Here is my review.

This is my fifth apple mango bingsu of the year.

I enjoyed it twice in Jeju and twice at The Log at The Westin Seoul Parnas.

Grand Hyatt Seoul Gallery

You may be thinking, “Apple mango already?” but delicious apple mangoes have been appearing continuously.

I did not see many people enjoying it at The Westin Seoul Parnas, but many people were already enjoying apple mango bingsu at Grand Hyatt Seoul Gallery. Let’s take a look together!

Location: 322 Sowol-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

Parking: Valet parking available.

Almost everyone knows the location, so I’ll skip that! This is a place that provides valet parking without any special conditions.

When you enter the lobby on the first floor, the space you see immediately is called the “Gallery.” This is where you can dine.

The event runs all the way through September. Haha. I guess there are places that serve shaved ice until quite late.

** There are several types of shaved ice, not just apple mango bingsu, so look into them and enjoy!

There are only three eligible cards. The Shinhan Marriott Bonvoy The Classic Card was not included. I suppose I’ll have to use that one for drinks instead.

Excluding The Premier Card, which is a true VVIP card, that leaves only two eligible cards.

I have The Best+ card, so I was able to participate in the event, and I plan to visit in June, July, and August.

If you have the famous Leve card, you can use it. Make the most of it until its validity period ends.

Both InterContinental Parnas and Grand Hyatt Seoul, which I plan to visit, offer apple mango bingsu!

Grand Hyatt Seoul Gallery is selling “Kaymak Apple Mango Bingsu” again this year, just like last year!

The appearance has changed somewhat. Haha. Let’s take a look~

Exterior

The Grand Hyatt Seoul lobby’s open, spacious design is one of its advantages.

It offers a very clear view of the Hannam District 3 redevelopment site.

Now that many of the houses have disappeared, you can actually see even farther...

You need to join the waitlist through Catch Table.

First, if you want to use the “Outdoor” area, you need to order alcoholic beverages. For reference, nobody was waiting there.

As you can see, there is no wait for “Dining.” There is some waiting for “Drinks and Shaved Ice.”

When I visited yesterday, there were 13 parties ahead of us, so we had to wait about an hour. Please keep that in mind.

You can of course have apple mango bingsu even if you join the “Dining” waitlist. However, you really do need to order a meal.

Instead, you will be assigned a seat somewhat closer to the window.

If you spend more money, you can eat more quickly at a better table...

If there is a “tip,” it would be to order a sandwich for takeaway and enter through the “Dining” line quickly. Haha.

Interior

It is such a pleasant space. Haha.

Since I had not eaten lunch, I ordered a bowl of kimchi fried rice in advance. We were assigned seats where the two of us could sit side by side, look outside, and eat.

If you are seated through the drinks line, you will be assigned a seat farther inside, across the fence behind us.

If you time it well, there may not be any wait at all. Plan your strategy carefully!

Time to eat!!!

Kimchi Fried Rice (40,000 won)

Grand Hyatt Seoul Gallery is a great place for kimchi fried rice.

The texture is excellent, as though it had just been fried on a griddle. For reference, although it may look simple, the white kimchi, roasted seaweed, and siraegi soup are all delicious...

It was delicious enough to soothe the wounds left by the soggy kimchi fried rice at Andaz Seoul, where I went to empty my Bimage card.

The meat adds a savory flavor, and the kimchi fried rice has a refined, deep taste.

I was particularly impressed by how well the grains of rice had been fried.

The two of us devoured the entire dish in no time...

Kaymak Apple Mango Bingsu (120,000 won → 84,000 won)

About 10 minutes after finishing our meal, an impressive kaymak apple mango bingsu arrived.

It looked even more magnificent than last year. The serving bowl itself also appeared to be larger.

A beautiful dish deserves to be photographed beautifully as well...

The apple mangoes appeared to be sufficiently ripened, with a deep color and a look as though they might melt away.

The cubes scattered throughout are cream cheese, and the white mound of ice cream in the center is coconut-flavored sorbet.

The kaymak is genuinely delicious too... The honey drizzled on top has an exceptional flavor as well!

The condensed milk and mango sorbet were provided as additions that supposedly go well with it, but there was really no need to add them.

The apple mango was already sweet and delicious enough~~!!

It looks even more delicious up close.

The item that looks like a tree branch is a cookie. When you bite into it, it has a rich cookie flavor.

Anyway!!! The apple mango was perfectly ripe, giving it an incredible melt-in-your-mouth texture.

It is very expensive... but considering the price and portion sizes at various places in Jeju that I considered good-value restaurants, including Apple Mango Lab, this holds its own completely.

120,000 won is a little expensive, but it is worth trying at 84,000 won.

The kaymak was also a truly unexpected highlight: it has a sweet, nutty flavor that makes you smile every time you eat it.

I wonder if they use particularly good honey too..? Haha.

The more you eat, the more mango you find inside.

Compared with The Westin Seoul Parnas, the ice has less of a milky flavor and feels more like plain shaved ice. However, there is so much mango that you can eat apple mango until you are genuinely full.

There is less ice than expected, and it feels as though almost the entire dish is apple mango;;;

I’ll finish with the last photo, which I took to use as the thumbnail!

My fifth apple mango bingsu of the year and my first kaymak apple mango bingsu at Grand Hyatt Seoul were both a success!

I really, really enjoyed the meal again today.!!!

Conclusion

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s kaymak apple mango bingsu does not disappoint.

Honestly, I think something that costs 120,000 won should be delicious.

It should provide enjoyment without fail, with perfectly ripened fruit... but I was somewhat disappointed by the apple mango bingsu at The Westin Parnas on my previous visit...

In that respect, my visit to Grand Hyatt Seoul Gallery in 2026 also seems to have been a success.

If you have an eligible Shinhan Card, you receive a 36,000-won discount. Since one drink is valued at 18,000 won, it seems like a decent deal. Let’s all enjoy hotel shaved ice together in June, July, August, and September~~

Grand Hyatt Seoul Gallery does not have a premium credit-card partnership discount event this year either. I heard that only those with memberships can receive a discount~

Compared with the apple mango bingsu restaurants I visited when I went to Jeju in May, the taste was in no way inferior.

When I think about it, having it at Grand Hyatt Seoul for 84,000 won may actually be the better option.

You have plenty of Shinhan Leve cards, right? Be sure to use them and enjoy plenty of delicious shaved ice!!!

** For reference, I was told that kaymak apple mango bingsu does not sell out. It seems you can visit and enjoy it in the evening as well... Try going when it is less crowded!!
