The canines are close to A3. Mammalian canines are naturally the darkest teeth (you did not know that, did you!?), and because they are thicker teeth, they can be more difficult to whiten effectively.

Even so, compared with the two marked crowns, you can see that the overall tone has been brightened!

To properly determine whether teeth whitening has worked, you must take before-and-after photos together with a shade guide.

Even whether or not the shade guide is positioned in front of your mouth can affect the subtle color rendering of a DSLR camera. Therefore, you should compare the results with a shade guide, which can serve as an absolute reference, to check whether the teeth have become brighter!!

Koreans generally have tooth shades around A3–3.5, and it seems that teeth can brighten to A1.5–2 after three applications of a teeth-whitening agent.

In addition, teeth are given a clearer, shinier appearance after whitening, so they may look even more glossy and smooth to the eye!
