Steroid ointment is a treatment medication that can help control these inflammatory reactions.

Therefore, when it is applied to the affected area, the inflammatory reaction within the skin subsides, and the rash and itching caused by atopic dermatitis can be expected to improve.

However, because steroids are often associated with side effects, many people feel a great deal of burden before treatment.

Of course, if high-dose steroids are used carelessly for a long period of time, side effects such as thinning of the skin or prominent blood vessels can occur.

However, the likelihood of side effects can vary greatly depending on the dosage and duration of use, as well as the strength of the ointment.

First, steroid ointments are divided into as many as 7 levels depending on their strength, and if you choose and use an ointment with a strength appropriate for the patient’s skin condition, you can expect more stable results.

Also, when applying the ointment, it is advisable to strictly follow the single-use amount provided by the medical staff.
