4. What is the 'Thermage MAX' program?

The Thermage FLX, generally known to many, is a lifting device that delivers radiofrequency energy deep into the skin to generate heat and uses that heat to induce collagen regeneration.

It is very helpful in tightening sagging skin and improving elasticity, but one question suddenly came to mind.

"Are improved elasticity

becoming younger skin the same concept?"

Skin aging is not only a physical phenomenon such as wrinkles and sagging,

but also involves biological changes such as the breakdown of the skin barrier, more frequent inflammatory reactions, and changes in the microbial environment.

2. We measured skin age through microbiome analysis. The technology most emphasized in this joint study is the analysis of the 'skin microbiome.'

The study involved 3D imaging of the skin before treatment and one month after treatment, as well as collecting actual skin microbial samples for analysis.

Under the same conditions, we compared and analyzed a group that received only the standard Thermage FLX treatment and a group that applied our Thermage MAX protocol.

As a result, in the standard treatment group, a tendency was observed for the proportion of beneficial skin bacteria to decrease somewhat due to the effects of radiofrequency heat energy.

On the other hand, in the group that applied the Thermage MAX program,

it was confirmed that the biological environment of the skin was maintained healthily, or even improved, without a significant reduction in beneficial bacteria.

This shows that the treatment led to positive changes not only in outward appearance but also in a direction that helps the skin restore and maintain its natural function.

3. It tends to make you look 5.3 years younger on average. The key outcome of this study is the change in the 'biological skin age index.'

This is a scientific indicator that estimates actual skin age by comprehensively analyzing the overall condition of the skin, rather than simply counting visible wrinkles.

According to the analysis, patients in the group that underwent the Thermage MAX program showed results indicating that their skin age became about 5.3 years younger on average after the procedure.

And this effect was not limited to a specific age group.

Unlike conventional Thermage treatments, which tended to show more pronounced effects mainly in people in their 30s and 40s whose skin responds relatively quickly,

Thermage MAX showed a consistent and even pattern of skin-age reduction across all age groups, from the 30s to the mid-60s.

This means that the method of keeping the skin's microbial ecosystem healthy, which tends to collapse more easily as we age,

can provide real anti-aging effects even for older adults with more advanced aging.
