Hello. Today, I’m here to share the behind-the-scenes story of our hospital.
Every morning, our staff comes in and takes care of patients, but they themselves often end up sighing because they can’t take care of themselves! So what is the one procedure our Wells Dermatology staff genuinely wants most?
Let’s take a look at this Q&A, full of personal bias!

Q. Which procedure at our hospital do you find most appealing?
A. I actually have a bit of facial fat, so people often say my face looks chubby. When I was young, I thought it was baby fat, but since it hasn’t gone away over time, I think it’s just my natural face shape. As time passes, I can feel this fat shifting downward a bit and my jawline becoming less defined, so I thought it was time for Ulthera.
There are so many types of lifting procedures, right? But the reason I chose Ulthera specifically comes down to one thing: the Ulthera duration. I’ve heard that if it’s done properly in one session, it can last for about a year.
Since I’m doing it anyway, I’m planning to be generous and get about 400–500 shots to firm up my entire face. That way, the duration will last longer, and I’ll get results that don’t feel like a waste of money!

Q. There are several doctors here. Is there anyone in particular you’d trust with your face?
A. I’d like to receive treatment from Director Lee Won-shin. As you’d know if you’d seen him from the side, he’s such a meticulous person that he’s the first one that comes to mind when I think of Ulthera.
And pain during Ulthera is a big concern too. I’m quite timid myself, so I really hate pain. But I’ve heard that this director carefully checks the energy and adjusts it throughout the procedure, so you can get the effect while feeling less pain, which is a big plus.
I think I could trust him with my face without worrying about pain.

Q. There are plenty of other clinics that do Ulthera too, so is there any reason it has to be our hospital?
A. The reason our hospital’s Ulthera is especially special is that it is performed using the “Ulthera Prime Fit” procedure. This isn’t just about operating the device; it combines Ulthera Prime and fitting lifting to literally design it to “fit” my face perfectly.
First, Ulthera PiPrime is a step that very precisely analyzes the patient’s skin thickness and degree of sagging before the procedure even begins. Everyone’s face shape is different, so you can’t use the exact same method for everyone, right? We check in real time with 영상 during the procedure to make sure the energy is delivered to the correct layer, so we can reduce Ulthera pain while still producing proper results.
On top of that, when our hospital’s own “fitting lifting” is added, the synergy is amazing! If Ulthera firmly restores elasticity deep in the skin, fitting lifting plays the role of smoothing out the facial lines.
With this dual care, the Ulthera duration naturally has no choice but to become much longer. Once you experience a single treatment and feel your lines tighten up, you’ll immediately think, “Ah, that’s why it’s Ulthera Prime Fit!” Even as a staff member, I think this combination is truly an appealing setup.

Q. Lastly, please tell us one more thing you’re proud of about our hospital!
A. At our hospital, the doctors personally handle everything from consultation to the procedure, so there’s no sense of disappointment like, “Am I just being treated and sent away like at a factory?” They also really listen to your concerns, and even just having a consultation feels healing.
And the location is really great. It’s right in front of Exit 4 of Apgujeong Station, so it’s easy to get to and also convenient to stop by on the way home from work. Even people who are bad with directions can easily find it if you say it’s on the 8th floor of the Olive Young building at Apgujeong Station, which is a major advantage because it’s basically impossible to miss.
