Liposuction and fat grafting are not simply about
taking out and putting in fat.
First, it is important to understand the surgical method.

Liposuction involves making a small incision in the skin,
inserting a thin tube, separating the subcutaneous fat layer,
and removing it with negative pressure.
The key is not to disturb the muscle layer, but to
remove fat evenly within the subcutaneous layer.

In contrast, grafting is the process of harvesting tissue
from the abdomen, thighs, or other areas, refining it,
and then injecting it back into the needed area.
The refining process includes filtering out blood and
impurities and selecting cells with a higher chance of
survival.
Understanding these basic principles makes it clearer
how to choose a clinic.
Liposuction: results are about line changes, not weight
The effect of liposuction is more about changes in
body shape than the amount of weight lost.

Abdomen before/after
The focus is on visual improvements, such as a more
defined waistline or a flatter-looking abdomen.
Removing as much as possible does not necessarily lead
to better results.

If the subcutaneous layer is not left evenly distributed,
the skin may become uneven.
In addition, if the skin has weak elasticity, sagging may
occur, so preoperative evaluation is important.

Removing too much tissue all at once can actually slow
down recovery.
Therefore, a plan that takes the overall proportions and
the condition of the skin into account is necessary.
Fat grafting: planning with survival in mind is important
Grafting is not simply about adding volume. After
harvesting, the refined tissue is injected in multiple layers,
Pelvis before/after
which helps increase contact with blood flow and
surface area, making survival more favorable.
If it is concentrated into one area, some of it may be
absorbed and some may appear clumped.

Buttocks before/after
If the person’s bone structure and degree of muscle
development are not considered, the line may look
unnatural.
Because a certain portion of the graft is absorbed after
the procedure, the design must account for this.

In the end, what matters is not excessive injection,
but balance.
Pain, swelling, bruising: what recovery looks like
Immediately after surgery, you may feel pressure and
stiffness.

Pain varies from person to person, but for most people
it is within a manageable range.
Swelling may be noticeable for 1 to 2 weeks, and bruising
may last longer depending on the person’s constitution.
Compression garments help the skin settle evenly.

During the initial recovery period, it is important to avoid
overexertion and follow the provided care instructions.
Liposuction and grafting are completed in one day, but
it takes time for the tissue to stabilize.

Recovery management completes the result.
