Among those concerned about their pelvic line,
many say things like,
“From the side, it looks sunken.”
“Pants don’t fit nicely.”
In particular, the hollow on the outer pelvic line called a hip dip
often appears regardless of body weight, so it can feel even more frustrating.

One way to address this area is hip dip filler.
In actual consultations, I also get many questions about before-and-after changes, the amount needed,
and the duration of the result,
so today I will explain these points in detail and also organize the solutions and precautions for you ^^

- Why hip dips and “peanut pelvis” occur
A hip dip is not simply a problem caused by a lack of fat.

The pelvic structure, the position of the greater trochanter, and the degree of muscle development
all interact together, making the side line appear sunken.
That is why it often remains even after weight loss.
In cases that look like a peanut pelvis, the area below the waist is concave,

and the areas above and below it protrude relatively more,
which makes the contrast stand out even more.
At this time, the approach should not be simple volume increase, but rather creating a natural connection in the line.
- What before-and-after changes look like with hip dip filler
Before treatment, the side line appears sunken, making the pelvis look angular
or as if it is broken.
After 1 month
After treatment, this area becomes more gently connected,
changing in a way that softens the overall silhouette.
After 1 month
Rather than a noticeably bigger appearance, the key change is that the line looks smoother from the side.
So rather than filling it excessively, it is important to design based on how naturally it connects with the surrounding areas.
- Amount needed and treatment planning criteria
The amount varies greatly from person to person.
Based on pelvic structure and the depth of the hollow,

some cases begin with about 10cc per side,
and others require more than that.
However, rather than injecting a large amount at once,
progressing in stages is helpful for creating a stable result.

Also, it is not just about filling the hip dip area alone;
the upper and lower lines should be considered together as well
to achieve overall balance.
If this is overlooked, an awkward volume may appear instead.
- Duration and precautions
Depending on the type of filler used,
the duration is usually explained as about 1 to 2 years.

Because there are differences depending on body changes, activity level, and individual metabolic speed,
the exact period varies from person to person.
In the early stage, it is important to avoid pressure or strong stimulation,
and
for a certain period, adjusting the intensity of exercise is helpful.

Most importantly, the goal is not excessive correction,
but natural improvement within a range that suits the current body type.
That is how a result that does not feel awkward over time can be maintained.
