When you look up body filler, many people are more curious not about
“Which product is better?” but about
“Why do some results look natural
while others look unnatural?”
In fact, even with the same body filler, the results can differ quite a bit depending on the area treated,
skin and subcutaneous fat thickness,

and whether the area moves a lot.
In particular, areas that need volume, such as the outer breast line, hip dips, pelvis, and buttocks,
require consideration of a wider area and greater load than facial fillers, so it is difficult to decide based only on the product name.

- How body filler types are classified
Broadly speaking, body fillers can be understood as hyaluronic acid types, collagen-inducing types,
and semi-permanent types designed for longer-lasting effects.
Body filler types
Hyaluronic acid types use a well-known ingredient, so they are relatively easy to understand,
and people who value adjustability are interested in them because they can be dissolved if needed.
However, in body procedures that require filling a large area,
there may be concerns about longevity and cost.
Body filler types
On the other hand, collagen-inducing types are understood as an approach that creates volume over time by inducing tissue response,
rather than instantly making a large area look fuller.
- Why the same procedure can produce different results
This is the part many people overlook.
Left) Before Right) Immediately after shoulder filler
Body filler results are not determined by the product alone.
Even when the same product is used, the result changes depending on which layer it is placed in, how widely it is distributed,
and how much is injected at one time.
Left) Before Right) 1 month after shoulder filler
For example, even if you are filling a hollow area like a hip dip,
simply filling the sunken point may make the side line look unnaturally protruded.
Also, areas such as the buttocks or pelvis, which are subject to frequent pressure from sitting, walking, and movement,
may show different maintenance patterns than the face.
So rather than only asking, “How many cc do you inject?” it is more appropriate to first determine whether the hollow in your body is due to lack of fat, skeletal differences, or asymmetry.
- Criteria to pay attention to by area
The criteria change depending on the area.
Body filler types
For hip dips, the connection of the side line is more important than simply adding volume.
Rather than making one point bulge, the line from the pelvis to the thigh should flow naturally for higher satisfaction.
For the pelvis area, you need to look at balance from the front as well as from the side and diagonal angles,
and
1 month later
there are often left-right differences, so injecting the same amount does not necessarily mean perfect symmetry.
With the buttocks, it is easy to think only about the desired size, but in reality,
whether upper volume is needed, lower support is needed,
or outward expansion is needed
determines the approach.
Depending on the product, it may need to be distributed appropriately, and excessive injection can instead lead to clumping or a noticeable boundary.
- Key points to check before the product itself
To summarize, when comparing body filler types, the most important question is not “Which product is the best?” but
Body filler types
“What approach and criteria are most natural for my body?”
Ultimately, the key criteria that create differences in results are not just the product name, but the combination of understanding the area, identifying tissue characteristics, selecting the injection layer, and designing the line.
Body procedures involve a wider area than the face and have more variables in movement, so they require more delicate judgment.
