Among those considering liposuction or those who have already had it done, more than the surgery itself,
“How should I take care of myself afterward?”
This is often the part people are more curious about.
In particular, changes such as swelling, induration, and adhesion
can feel very different depending on how they are managed.

Even after the same surgery,
the line and feel can differ depending on
how recovery is managed.
Today, I’ll realistically organize what problems can occur
when post-liposuction care is not done properly,
and the care guidelines for swelling, induration, and adhesion.

- Why post-liposuction care is important
Liposuction does not end simply with the process of removing fat;
the result is determined by including the recovery process afterward.

Post-liposuction care
Immediately after surgery, the tissues are temporarily swollen,
and internally the body is also in the stage of recovery.
If proper care is not taken during this period,
swelling may last longer
or the line may feel uneven.

In particular, if compression or lifestyle habits are not properly established early on,
differences in recovery speed may occur.
- Swelling management guidelines and timing
Swelling is a natural reaction after surgery, but
the duration can vary depending on how it is managed.

In the early stage, wearing compression garments is important,
and maintaining steady pressure consistently is helpful.
Also, excessive activity or stimulation
can be a factor that keeps swelling around longer.

3 months later
As time passes, it usually gradually goes down,
but if early care is insufficient,
the recovery period can become longer.
- How to manage induration (hardening)
At a certain point after surgery,
a state where the area under the skin feels hard,
called induration, may appear.

Induration state
This is one of the changes that occur during recovery,
and it often eases over time.
However, if care is insufficient,
the hard feeling may last longer
or some areas may feel bumpy.

Radiofrequency care
At this stage, rather than strong stimulation,
care suited to the condition is important.
After a certain point,
care that gently loosens the area can be helpful,
and excessive compression at the wrong time may have the opposite effect.
- Adhesion prevention and management points
Adhesion refers to tissues sticking together,
which can affect the contour.

Post-liposuction care compression garment
It is also important to check the way the compression garment is worn
and lifestyle habits together so that continuous pressure is not applied only to a specific area.
Post-liposuction care is not optional;
it is a process that directly affects the result.

Abdominal liposuction 3 months later
Swelling, induration, and adhesion all change over time,
but the way they feel can differ depending on the care method.

Rather than proceeding too forcefully,
it is important to approach it with methods suited to the timing,
and setting the care direction according to the current condition
can lead to a more stable recovery.
