Let’s take a look at postoperative recovery, which is the part you need to pay the most attention to!

How does recovery from a brow lift (sub-brow lift) go?

→ Swelling and bruising may occur right after surgery, but most people can return to daily life within 1 to 2 weeks.

→ The scar gradually fades and is usually barely noticeable after 3 to 6 months.

→ Recovery speed varies from person to person, so 충분한 rest and care are necessary.

Especially after surgery, managing swelling is important~ At Stella, postoperative recovery care can be conveniently managed with Smartlux👌

For patients who had surgery at Stella, we always provide Smartlux laser treatment during postoperative dressing visits for faster recovery!

Postoperative precautions

→ In the early stage after surgery, manage swelling with cold compresses

Right after surgery, we recommend cold compresses for at least 2 to 3 days to reduce swelling! After the stitches are removed, switching to warm compresses can help with blood circulation and support recovery.

→ Avoid strong刺激 to the eyebrow area

Until the stitches are removed, be careful not to rub the eyebrow area directly or let soap foam touch it! After stitch removal, gentle face washing is possible!

→ Use scar ointment!

If you consistently apply scar ointment after stitch removal, it helps smooth the surgical area for a cleaner recovery! The incision is made along the eyebrow line, so over time the scar becomes barely noticeable!

→ Use sunscreen protection!

Exposure to ultraviolet rays may leave pigmentation behind, so be sure to apply sunscreen carefully when going बाहर, and wearing a hat also helps!
