Garosugil best restaurant Hanchu (A Memory of a Drink)
Tteokbokki & fried chili peppers, just as good as expected!
/
Hanchu in Garosugil was a place I had wanted to visit for a long time!
This is a well-known Garosugil restaurant that has long been famous for tteokbokki, chicken, and fried chili peppers, right?
I thought there would be a wait,
but there wasn’t, probably because there were so many tables.
Also, the day I visited A Memory of a Drink (Hanchu)
was a soccer day, so I thought there would be an ama~~~~~~~~~~zing
number of people, but I was able to go in without waiting.

After appearing on episode 3 of Wednesday Foodtalk in the <Chicken/Fried Chicken> segment,
it seems Garosugil best restaurant Hanchu became even more famous!
Originally, the shop was just one section of the building(?)
but I heard it expanded to both sides.
If I had come before the expansion, I would definitely have had to wait
to eat.

Because the place fills up quickly,
I arrived early and got my seat first.

I heard that when you come to Hanchu in Garosugil,
you absolutely have to have draft beer too!

A Memory of a Drink (Hanchu) menu

I ordered 1 Hanchu tteokbokki + 1 fried chili peppers + draft beer.
The only basic side items are chicken pickled radish, soy sauce, and puffed rice crackers!

I had taken my seat and was waiting for the food,
and in an instant, almost every table filled up.
The tables at Hanchu in Garosugil are really, really close together.
Only one person can pass through.
Since it’s a Garosugil restaurant with a lot of tables,
people who dislike a noisy atmosphere may not like it.

It seems like you absolutely have to order tteokbokki at Hanchu in Garosugil.
On the other tables too, every one of them had
at least one Hanchu tteokbokki.
Hanchu tteokbokki costs 15,000 won,
and it comes in a big bowl!!!!
The rice cakes are made with rice, and there were also various kinds of fish cakes.
With enoki mushrooms, glass noodles, fish cakes, and chives,
Hanchu in Garosugil offered a really diverse way to eat!

The tteokbokki was sweet and tasted like the kind you get at a snack stand!
It was a flavor everyone knows,
but you know the familiar taste is usually the most dangerous one, right?

Right after the tteokbokki came out, the fried chili peppers followed.
The visuals alone were no joke.
The peppers were large, and the batter had a very appetizing color too.

To eat it with the tteokbokki,
I cut everything into bite-size pieces first!

The food was all out, the fried pieces were all cut,
and I started eating in earnest!!!
Actually, tteokbokki is a snack that everyone in the country loves, right...?
And then there are fried chili peppers with meat inside too...!
What I liked most about Hanchu in Garosugil
was that there were enoki mushrooms in the tteokbokki.
Compared to other mushrooms, enoki mushrooms have a crisp texture,
so they’re really satisfying to chew~
On top of that, since they’re inside delicious tteokbokki,
it tasted even better lolㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I originally planned to also order chicken or chicken gizzards,
but after eating the Hanchu tteokbokki, fried chili peppers, and beer,
I was too full to eat more.
Next time, I should go with a group and have chicken too!
