Maybe because the weather has been chilly in the mornings and evenings,
there are many times when I want something warm yet refreshing in broth form.
I visited Golbaengi Sinsa, which I had long been recommended as a Garosu-gil food spot.
I heard Golbaengi Sinsa is famous for whole whelk!

the sign is visible, so it was easy to find.

This is a large dog you can see at Golbaengi Sinsa on Garosu-gil.
It didn't seem very interested in people.
I saw somewhere that it doesn't like being touched by people!

I sat at an inside seat.
When I went there, there weren't many people,
but this Garosu-gil food spot filled up quickly too!

The basic side dishes served at Golbaengi Sinsa on Garosu-gil!

It had been a few years since I had fresh whelk soup once,
and it was my first time having it again. The broth was incredibly spicy and refreshing!!!!!!
A perfect dish for chilly weather.

Since the fresh whelk soup at Golbaengi Sinsa is served after being boiled once,
they said you can eat it once you turn up the heat and it comes back to a boil.
That means you don't have to wait long!

There was a clearly written guide on how to eat the whelk deliciously,
but I ate it however I wanted, lol
With the combination of perilla leaf + whelk + wasabi + radish sprouts!!!

If you pick it up with tongs and poke it with a fork to twist it,
the whelk just comes right out!!!!!!!
You got the whelk out properly, right?

I picked out and ate the whelk, and also had some well-cooked odeng,
and because the broth was so rich and flavorful, I enjoyed it so much!

After eating the fresh whelk soup, I also had seafood ramen,
and I heard this ramen is also one of Golbaengi Sinsa's specialties!
I ate very well^^~
