Ikseon-dong has been

a very hot neighborhood for several years now.

It feels like there are more and more people every time I go.

Also, since the alleyways themselves are small and narrow,

it probably makes the crowds look even bigger.

When I visited Ikseon-dong after a long time,

there were many newly opened places,

and there were also quite a few places still under construction.

As I always feel whenever I go to Ikseon-dong,

every time I walk through the alleyways and see long waiting lines,

I think, "This must be a popular restaurant!" lol

Ikseon-dong seems like it would be so nice to visit when there are fewer people.

I want to go again.

I heard the Icheung Yangok building is very old.

It was a Western-style house completed in 1936 that was remodeled.

Maybe that's why, even from the outside,

it had a strong old-fashioned charm.

With its elegant atmosphere, even just one interior prop like this

made the mood feel completely different.

This place serves Western dishes such as

pasta, steak, and risotto.

Probably because the atmosphere is nice,

and the food is Western-style,

there were quite a lot of couples here.

#Salad

First came the green salad~

It had ricotta cheese, tomatoes, and oranges on top of the salad greens!

The dressing was balsamic sauce.

I like eating salad with balsamic sauce

and arugula!

It also goes well with ricotta cheese.

cost 6,000 won, and the portion was quite large.

#Rosé Pasta

For pasta, we ordered shrimp rosé pasta,

and it came with two pieces of baguette as well.

The shrimp was chopped and mixed in, so it had a strong shrimp flavor, which I liked.

On top of that, mushrooms were included,

so the texture was nice too.

#Steak

Among these, the most main(?)-worthy menu item was

the steak at Icheung Yangok!

There were two options: beef and pork,

but isn't steak = beef? lol

The menu said the beef steak at this Ikseon-dong restaurant

is served medium rare.

So I remember ordering it without asking about the doneness separately.

The cut used for the steak at Icheung Yangok in Ikseon-dong was sirloin!

It was served with roasted vegetables, purée, and vin chaud sauce.

This is the tomato beef risotto.

This risotto also contains sirloin.

The sirloin is placed under the arugula!!!

Still, since there were several of us, we ordered a variety of dishes,

and of course there was nothing left lol

We took photos one by one and then started eating in earnest!

Seeing another table order gambas made us consider whether to order it or not,

but after finishing everything, we were full.

The pasta and risotto were all delicious, but the steak,

which we sliced thick and ate,

was really delicious!!!!!!!!!!

It wasn't tough at all, and it was tender lol

I recommend the steak at Icheung Yangok in Ikseon-dong!

Since there were several of us, it was great to be able to try a variety of dishes,

and if I come again later,

I'd like to try the other menu items at this Ikseon-dong restaurant

instead of the ones we had this time.
