Not long after Blue Bottle opened in Seongsu-dong,

the newly opened Samcheong-dong Blue Bottle!

When I first heard it would open in Korea,

I heard that it would open in Samcheong-dong first,

but I never thought it would open in Seongsu-dong first... haha

I went to Blue Bottle once before in Omotesando, Japan.

The coffee was very good there too,

and I remember staying there and taking my time,

so it was one of the cafés I wanted to visit again.

When I came to Samcheong-dong once last year,

the neighborhood was quiet,

but after Samcheong-dong Blue Bottle 2nd Branch opened,

it seemed to have become very bustling.

If I had had enough time, I really wanted to go on a weekday

to Samcheong-dong Blue Bottle! Personally, for some reason,

I wanted to visit the Samcheong-dong 2nd branch more than the Seongsu-dong 1st branch.

Unlike the other locations, Samcheong-dong is divided into two spaces:

Blue Bottle Samcheong Café and Blue Bottle Samcheong Hanok.

The quiet and private space,

Samcheong Hanok, also made me want to visit someday.

The Blue Bottle 2nd branch I had seen on Instagram and other blogs

was right in front of me!

I think I went from Exit 1 of Anguk Station.

The weather was nice, so I walked slowly,

and I got there quickly.

When I visited, it was the weekend,

so there were really, really a lot of people.

Samcheong-dong Blue Bottle 2nd Branch seems like it would be crowded even on weekdays.

I looked it up, and many people use paid parking lots nearby.

This is the menu with coffee, non-coffee drinks, and desserts

all in one place!

After ordering my drink, I also looked at the displayed

MD products.

In the past, when I saw MD items like these, I would just pass by thinking,

“Oh, so this kind of thing exists.”

But these days, I don’t know why I’ve become so obsessed with cups lol

I’m sure I saw this mug before and thought,

“Wow, that’s too expensive,” and just walked past it.

This time, I was debating whether to buy it or not,

but I had recently bought a cup, so I gave up.......ㅠㅠ...

But looking at the photos like this again, it’s starting to linger in my mind, ,!

This is an insulated cooler bag, and it seems perfect for

a picnic or outing somewhere.

I was more drawn to the canned coffee MD than the cooler bag.

I heard that even though that canned coffee is small,

it’s strong.

If you don’t handle caffeine well, it might be better to dilute it with water

or share it with someone.

There was also Blue Bottle coffee beans.

The bean prices were a little higher than those at other coffee franchises,

more than I had expected.

Still, Blue Bottle beans are something I’d like to try at least once!

Next to them were cold brew bottles.

The cold brew bottles came in two colors: light blue and gray.

If you like coffee,

you’d probably really like making cold brew at home!

How to enjoy cold brew

1. Put 55 g of coffee into the filter.

2. Fill it with cold water up to the marked line,

then gently shake to mix.

3. Refrigerate for 8 hours.

and there were already a lot of orders ahead of mine,

so it took quite a while for the coffee to come out.

So while I looked around at the MD items and other things,

my drink finally arrived.

I debated whether to buy the mug or something else,

but in the end I didn’t buy anything lolllllllll

I heard Blue Bottle’s latte is really good,

so I had a latte before too,

and this time I had a latte again!

When I tasted Blue Bottle’s latte,

it had a feeling similar to Paul Bassett.

I prefer a latte with more coffee aroma and flavor

rather than one that tastes strongly of milk.

I heard that the view from the third floor of Samcheong-dong Blue Bottle 2nd Branch is very nice.

There were no seats on the third floor, so I just took a quick look with my eyes

and sat for a moment before leaving.

It seems like if you go right when it opens,

or if you stop by briefly before the store closes,

you’ll be able to stay there more leisurely at Samcheong-dong Blue Bottle.

I want to come back to the Blue Bottle 2nd branch when there aren’t many people and when its popularity has cooled down!

It would probably be nice to come in the evening too.
