I think frozen pork belly is good because it is thinner than regular pork belly

so you can grill and eat it quickly.

Even with thick cuts of pork or regular pork belly,

sometimes you have to wait a long time!

The famous frozen pork belly spots in Gaerosugil are

88 Athlete Village and Daebongjip, which I visited.

88 Athlete Village was a bit difficult

if you go with a large group.

So we went to Daebongjip,

and it had plenty of tables, so it was fine

even for a larger group to sit down and eat.

Daebongjip in Gaerosugil is close to Sinsa Station Exit 8.

Above all, I liked that it wasn’t deep inside an alley!!!

It sits on a street corner, but Daebongjip was easy to spot!

This place has a first floor and a basement level,

and when I looked from the first floor, I thought there wouldn’t be any seats left,

but when I went downstairs, there were so many seats.

We also went at a time when it wasn’t crowded,

so it was comfortable, but once mealtime came, the seats filled up quickly.

I thought frozen pork belly might be fading a bit,

but these days pork skin has become trendy.

For a while, when I went to eat frozen pork belly,

the number of side dishes, of course, and the variety of them were huge.

I personally like the basic side dishes that you can eat with the meat.

At the Gaerosugil restaurant, they only served green onion salad, lettuce wraps, ssamjang, salted seafood, seasoned sesame oil, and garlic!

And this is seasoned squid with vinegar sauce

Now, shall we grill the meat?

First, we had to eat the meat, so

we ordered the frozen pork belly first.

Bean sprout salad, kimchi, and mushrooms are served as a basic set,

so you can grill and eat them with the meat.

When I go to eat frozen pork belly,

it seems like every table has this Sunho pepper powder.

If you sprinkle it on while grilling the meat,

it seems especially delicious.

Especially with frozen pork belly more than other meats,,,,

The frozen pork belly at Daebongjip didn’t seem to be a small portion.

Also, the seasoned squid I ate while grilling the meat was very delicious!

I debated whether to eat more meat or pork skin,

and ended up ordering the pork skin!

When I ate pork skin around last month or so,

it was really delicious.

Also, they grilled the pork skin for us, so we could just

pick it up and eat it right away, which was nice.

From the soybean powder to eat with the pork skin

and even a sauce based on gochujang!

At Daebongjip in Gaerosugil,

I enjoyed the frozen pork belly and pork skin :-)
