Apgujeong Station lunch rice noodles, a delicious restaurant featured on Weekly Food Talk
Review of Vietnamese Hometown Restaurant Branch 2!
When you go to restaurants, there are so many places that have been on TV, right?
Personally, I feel like Weekly Food Talk is more trustworthy than any other programㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
The Apgujeong Station restaurant featured on Weekly Food Talk that I visited recently has its original branch in Ansan, and I heard the second branch is
near Exit 4 of Apgujeong Station!!!!
The weather had gotten chilly, so
I was craving warm rice noodles and went to Vietnamese Hometown Restaurant in Apgujeong.

Vietnamese Hometown Restaurant Branch 2
also comes up quite often as an Apgujeong Station lunch option!
It was a place I had always only seen while passing by,
but after seeing that it was a restaurant featured on Weekly Food Talk,
I thought I definitely had to try itㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
The Apgujeong rice noodle restaurant
is said to be an authentic Vietnamese rice noodle specialty restaurant.
They say a Vietnamese chef personally prepares the food!

There’s a side-dish container(?) at every table,
and it contains pickled radish and onions!

Vietnamese Hometown Restaurant near Apgujeong Station has quite a lot of tables.
Since rice noodles are one of those foods
that are easy to eat alone,
there were quite a few people coming in for a solo meal!

After you order, they place paper at each table.
It explains how to enjoy the rice noodles deliciously.
- Add bean sprouts.
- Squeeze in lemon (lime).
- Eat with chili sauce, Vietnamese hot peppers, cilantro, and mint.
(Cilantro and mint are optional!!!)

I ordered the beef rice noodles!
In Korea, Southeast Asian food usually costs quite a bit,
so I didn’t think it was especially expensive.
In particular, the rice noodles at Vietnamese Hometown Restaurant Branch 2 in Apgujeong
came in a really big bowl and the portion of noodles was really large.
Unlike the Vietnamese rice noodle places I had been to before,
the bean sprouts were blanched before being served!

I squeezed in some lime

I added the bean sprouts and Vietnamese hot peppers as written!
I remembered the Vietnamese peppers I had at Emoi being so spicy,
so this time I only added a tiny bit, but it wasn’t spicy so I ended up dumping in a lotㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
The Vietnamese rice noodles for lunch near Apgujeong Station
had a really deep broth and were really delicious.
It had been a while since I’d had rice noodles,
but now I understood why Weekly Food Talk said this was the kind of rice noodle place that makes you lose your composure and even inhale the broth..ㅠㅠ...

I came to my senses and realized it was already goneㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
There was really a lot of noodles and a lot of meat,
but because the broth was delicious too, I ended up eating without noticing.
I’m really admitting that this Apgujeong rice noodle place is a true gemㅠ.ㅠ!!!!!
I enjoyed it :-)
