Beef is always right

It had been a while since I visited Mapo-gu!

I went to Gongdeok, which is known for having many good restaurants.

I had Hanwoo at Hanwoo Chilseongsanghoe, and as expected, there were lots of people everywhere on the weekend.

It’s not far from Exit 9 of Gongdeok Station,

so it’s easy to find!

I ordered the special set that includes three types of Hanwoo beef: sirloin, striploin, and tenderloin!

39,000 won

(26,000 won/100g)

Hanwoo Chilseongsanghoe, like Warehouse 43 and Daedo Sikdang,

also had the basic side dishes set out.

The standard setup included kkakdugi, pickles, green onion salad, garlic, and gochujang,

and cabbage and potatoes were also served.

The price and the menu composition both gave it a feeling even more similar to Warehouse 43, which I posted about last time!

At Gongdeok Chilseongsanghoe, just like other Hanwoo restaurants,

the staff grilled each cut for us.

Hanwoo is best seared quickly over high heat

so you can eat it before it gets tough and enjoy it tenderㅠ.ㅠ

Grilled potatoes are also a real treat when eating Hanwoo.

I put the cooked meat on top of the potatoes,

and maybe because the meat fat and juices soaked in...

it tasted even better, hahaㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Also, the outside is crispy and the inside is moist!!!!

When grilling meat, you know you should grill garlic too, right?

Since Gongdeok restaurant Chilseongsanghoe has so many private rooms,

it seemed like a good place to bring kids,

and on weekdays it felt like a place where company dinners would happen often.

The setup and menu are similar to Warehouse 43,

but the atmosphere is completely different!

That day, I was planning to eat kkakdugi fried rice again,

but I was already too full and still had some meat left,

so I ordered a doenjang stew from the meal menu

and ate it with rice!

These days, with so many important year-end and New Year appointments,

enjoy delicious Hanwoo at Gongdeok restaurant Chilseongsanghoe~
