When traveling in Jeju, one thing you can’t miss is a café tour.

From cafés with a Jeju-like atmosphere to a wide variety of themed cafés, there are so many to choose from!

There are so many great cafés wherever you go that choosing one in Jeju is really hard.

This time, I visited Ogil Cafe in Pyeongdae-ri, Jeju. It seems their soufflé cake is famous!

Jeju Ogil Cafe was a place with lots of photo spots where you could get that perfect life-shot. They had decorated not only the outside but also the inside, so it was a Jeju café that was fun to look around.

When I went, the weather wasn’t cold at all, and it was perfect autumn weather, so it was nice to sit outside.

There were lots of different interior decorations, and since there were many photo zones, it felt like a no-kids zone. I went at opening time, so I was able to stay a little more leisurely!

People kept coming in, so it seemed like this was a popular place too. Still, unlike some other cafés, it wasn’t noisy, which made Jeju Ogil even better.

Even though I took so many photos, I still felt like something was missing..ㅠㅠ..

I thought, I should take lots of photos when there are no people around! but I ended up taking way too many anyway lolllllllllll

I found Ogil on Instagram while looking for cafés in the Pyeongdae-ri area. Coffee was part of it, but I also wanted to eat some delicious dessert!

And I heard Gujwa is famous for carrots. It seems like carrot cake is something you can often find at cafés around here lolllll

At Cafe Ogil, one menu item per person is required, and you can’t move to another seat after sitting down. No commercial filming! Outside food is also prohibited!

Jeju Cafe Ogil Since it’s a famous soufflé spot, we had to order soufflé too, right?

One of the items we ordered was the fresh fruit soufflé pancake. The price wasn’t exactly cheap, but considering Jeju Island prices, I don’t think it was especially expensive either.

It was topped with kiwi, peach, grapefruit, and banana, and there were three fluffy, soft soufflés.

And there was sweet maple syrup too!!

For the fresh fruit soufflé, I poured on quite a bit of maple syrup and ate it lolㅋㅋㅋㅋ

This is the peach soufflé pancake! Unlike the fresh fruit soufflé that came first, this one had soufflé topped with cream and white nectarine.

This is a menu item you can enjoy by dipping it generously in cream, making it even moister and sweeter!

This is the cloud egg soufflé pancake!

I heard the topping on the soufflé is meringue. They say whipping meringue is really hard,,,, It had a different feel from the soufflé with fruit!

If the fresh fruit soufflé and peach soufflé felt like desserts, then at Jeju Cafe Ogil the cloud egg soufflé pancake felt more like brunch or a meal.

And last was the homemade carrot cake!

Cafe Ogil generally seems to serve dishes and cutlery beautifully too. The plating was exactly the kind that would appeal to women’s taste!

The carrot cake was moist, and the subtle carrot flavor made it very appealing.

It wasn’t just dessert we had we also had drinks.....!

After filling up nicely, taking the remaining photos, we left the Jeju café.

It was a place I found after only seeing it on Instagram, but Cafe Ogil really won me over. If I go to Jeju again, I’d like to visit once more :-)
