Garosu-gil lunch menu, Doldaegijip Sinsa Branch
Chadol-duruji
/
Every day’s dilemma...! What should I eat today?
What should I have for lunch? Where should I go?
If I decide quickly, that’s great, but when the 고민 drags on,
it feels too hard to choose a lunch menu.
I went to Garosu-gil for lunch
and visited Doldaegijip Sinsa Branch.
Doldaegijip Sinsa Branch address
34 Dosan-daero 11-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
(Jibun address: 1st and 2nd floors, 535-7 Sinsa-dong
Doldaegijip Sinsa Branch hours

Baek Jong-won’s Doldaegijip also has separate lunch menu items,
and the prices are really affordable, with lots of options too!
It felt like a version of Saemaeul Sikdang with chadolbaegi.
I went in after seeing the chadol-duruji menu
in front of the Garosu-gil Doldaegijip.
Chadol-duruji is a lunch special menu,
and it seemed like you can order it starting from one serving.

After thinking about it for a while,
I ended up ordering chadol-duruji,
and the basic side dishes were just three items.
Cabbage salad, stir-fried bracken, and kimchi.
Actually, duruji doesn’t really need side dishesㅠ.ㅠ

It came out right away not long after ordering:
Garosu-gil lunch Doldaegijip chadol-duruji!
The vegetables and chadolbaegi are served together,
and you cook them before eating.

The soup was bean sprout soup!
I thought bean sprout soup would be hot,
but I was surprised that it was coldㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I naturally assumed it would be a warm soup ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I also had the spicy mixed bibim dangmyeon on the side,
and it was similar to jjolmyeon and went well with the meat!
The Garosu-gil Doldaegijip chadol-duruji was also spicy,
so it was perfect to eat with rice.
And the two kinds of wraps, chili peppers, garlic, and ssamjang
are available at the self-serve bar, so you can take them as you like!
Next time, if I eat chadol-duruji for lunch in Garosu-gil,
it would be so good to leave a little steamed rice and make fried rice too!
I enjoyed the meal :-)
