When I get hooked on lamb skewers more than other menu items,
I really feel helpless....ㅠ^ㅠ
Once I start eating them, they’re also a dish
that I think about regularly.
I don’t think I had ever had lamb skewers on Garosu-gil,
so I searched for a well-known lamb skewer spot and found
Zemei Lamb Skewers!

Zemei Lamb Skewers Sinsa Branch, a great lamb skewer place,
was easy to find because it’s near the entrance to Garosu-gil!
I didn’t remember seeing many lamb skewer places on Garosu-gil,
so I searched around, and the reviews were generally excellent.

Zemei Lamb Skewers menu

I heard that when eating lamb skewers, you should be able to tell
whether the lamb is good quality or not.
In particular, if it’s older lamb, it apparently has a very strong gamey smell!
At this Garosu-gil lamb skewer place,
we first ordered lamb skewers, guobaorou, and hot noodles!
The seasoned ones are lamb skewers, and the salt-seasoned ones are lamb rib meat!
Lamb skewers (seasoned) 10 pieces 13,000 won
Lamb rib meat (salt) 10 pieces 15,000 won

Looking at the menu, there was also mala lamb skewers,
and I was so curious about what those would be like.
Of course, the seasoned lamb skewers were delicious too,
but I think I personally prefer meat that isn’t seasoned
more than seasoned meat!
More than anything else, what was disappointing was... I forgot to order whole garlicㅠ.ㅠ
You know that grilling whole garlic while eating lamb skewers is a must, right?
At Zemei Lamb Skewers on Garosu-gil,
if you ask the staff for garlic, they’ll bring it to you.

Beer is a must with lamb skewers!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tsingtao is good, Harbin is good, they’re all good,,
But that day at the lamb skewer place, we went with Harbin!

The guobaorou we ate with the lamb skewers..!
Unlike tangsuyuk, guobaorou is really sweet and sour, chewy,, crispy,,, it has everything..ㅠㅠ...
And because it’s freshly fried and eaten right away,
there’s no way it wouldn’t be delicious! ! !
Long live guobaorou

And at a lamb skewer restaurant, I always order hot noodles.
The style of hot noodles is so different from place to place.
At some places, it’s a spicy broth,
at others, it’s a mild broth with lots of cheongyang chili peppers,
and at others, it feels like jjambbong!
Zemei Lamb Skewers on Garosu-gil
had a style of hot noodles I think I was seeing for the first time.
It had a white broth with seasoning on top, so you just mixed it and ate it.
As expected, it’s delicious either way.. hot noodles ㅠ.ㅠ
Thank you for the meal :-)
