Andaz Hotel Texas de Brazil Apgujeong
Second Review After Visiting for a Year-End Gathering!
I visited once around October,
and recently went again for a year-end gathering at
Andaz Hotel in Apgujeong!
Originally, we were going to have the get-together at the upscale Okgo Sushisan,
but there wasn’t a suitable table, so we decided on Texas de Brazil.
It was much more satisfying than the first time I visited,
and I enjoyed the unlimited Andaz churrasco so much! :D

When you go down to the basement level 1 of Andaz Hotel in Apgujeong,
Texas de Brazil is right there.
There is another branch in Express Bus Terminal besides Apgujeong,
but I’ve only visited the Texas Apgujeong branch twice.
Parking is in the hotel’s designated parking lot on basement level 5,
and it’s free for 2 hours!

I made a reservation the day before the year-end gathering in a hurry,
and since it was already very booked, I reserved around 7:30.
On the day of the reservation, I arrived a little early,
and there happened to be an available table, so they seated us right away.
If you’re going to Texas de Brazil,
I think making a reservation is definitely necessary.
Maybe because it was the end of the year,
there were a lot of year-end dinners and gatherings.
It seemed like almost everyone came in groups!

When you’re shown to your table and go to your seat,
the tableware is already set.

Texas de Brazil is a place where you can enjoy Brazilian barbecue,
churrasco, as much as you want.
When I first visited, I didn’t know it was that
well known, but it had appeared on Delicious Guys
and more recently on My Little Old Boy, too...!
And YouTubers came here for mukbangs as well lol
Andaz Hotel Texas Brazil
For churrasco lunch, 9 kinds of meat are served,
and for dinner, 15 kinds of meat are served.

The salad bar at Texas de Brazil Apgujeong
had quite a lot of items that could be enjoyed together
with churrasco.
The salad bar didn’t seem very different
from when I came in October.
In the post I wrote after my first visit to Texas,
I roughly took some photos of the inside,
but this time there were so many people
that I couldn’t even take interior photosㅠ.ㅠ

A must-have sauce if you want to eat churrasco all you can eat...!
Having sauce definitely makes it less greasy,
and I think it made it even more delicious :D

I brought some vegetables to eat with the churrasco.
Tomatoes, asparagus, roasted peppers,
and I also took a little smoked salmon,
plus pineapple!

What I realized while having a year-end gathering at Texas de Brazil.
You absolutely need to bring a plate for the meat.
The meat the carvers bring stacks up really quickly,,!
And if you take everything at once and eat it all,
you’ll get full very fast.
I put mustard sauce, roasted garlic, and olives
on an empty plate.
Bringing mustard was truly a genius move,,ㅎㅎ,,,,

On the table, there’s a round token (?)
that means if it’s green, please give me more meat!
and if you flip it over, it becomes red,
which means please stop giving me meat.

Since meat gets cold quickly if you stack it up,
I think it’s best to eat it while it’s still warm.
Especially with beef or lamb, it can get tough.
The sausage I ate first was
so juicy and delicious..!
When the carver brings churrasco,
they tell you what kind of meat it is,
what cut it is, and ask if you’d like it.
So at Texas de Brazil Apgujeong, you can just try the meats you want
from among the ones served.
The first beef I received
was so tender and really delicious.

And this was chicken,
and looking at the menu, it was Parmesan chicken.
It was suuuper tender,
and had a juicy flavor...!

Last time I came, I think they served bread and grilled bananas
first, but on this visit, they brought bread and bananas
while I was already eating meat.

Now it really begins -

Still, since I was eating greasy meats,
I had to have some beer too!

When I ate churrasco at Texas de Brazil Apgujeong,
I was satisfied with most of it.
I just ate slowly, tried whatever was served right away,
and when I ate the food from the salad bar together with it,
there were all kinds of different flavors.

Also, each cut had a different texture,
different amounts of fat, and a variety of types,
so it was nice to have so many things to try.
What I felt at Texas de Brazil this time was
that lamb really suits my taste.

At first, I thought it didn’t suit me because of
the distinctive smell of lamb, but after trying lamb chops,
I kept thinking about them...ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Andaz Hotel Texas also has
lamb chops and lamb leg meat!

The ribs were also so tender and great.

Chicken breast & bacon
This was also really delicious :-)

When I went, instead of pork tomahawk,
they said they were serving pork belly... I can’t rememberㅠ.ㅠ
If I go again later, I think it would be nice to try the pork tomahawk.
What was really special was this item made with
pepper & bacon & cream cheese!!!!!!!!!!
It looked so delicious that I asked for two and ate them,
and they were really great.

I think this was lamb leg meat!

I ate it with the sauce they gave when they first set the table.
They said these sauces go well with beef/lamb/pork and chicken,
but I just ate it... according to my own tasteㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

By the time I’d received so much meat,
I got full just from eating everything I had received.
My second visit to Texas de Brazil Apgujeong
was even more satisfying than the first visit!
Having the year-end gathering at Andaz Hotel
was really the right choice..ㅎㅎ..

Even though it was just two people, we still had a great year-end gathering~~~~~~~~
Thank you for the meal :-O
