Bindaetteok, Hoe Guksu

I heard that Notjeon Guksu is a really famous place in Gyeongju too.
I think it was recommended by a taxi driver.
When I went to Hwangridan-gil in Gyeongju, more than anywhere else,
I really wanted to try Notjeon Guksu’s hoe guksu,
and I finally got to go!!!!!!

Notjeon Guksu is located near the end of Gyeongju Hwangridan-gil.
Since it’s a famous restaurant, I thought there might be a wait,
but luckily we were able to go in without waiting!

Menu at Notjeon Guksu, a restaurant in Gyeongju Hwangridan-gil
We ordered 1 bindaetteok, banquet noodles, and hoe guksu.
.

First came the bindaetteok!
Notjeon Guksu’s bindaetteok was thick,
and it was really well made..ㅠㅠ
The outside was crispy, the inside was moist,
and it was light and really delicious.
Sometimes when you go to a place that doesn’t make bindaetteok well,
it just falls apart, and you can immediately tell it doesn’t taste good.
But the bindaetteok at Hwangridan-gil Notjeon Bunsik was seriously, seriously delicious!

I also ate it with the onion pickles that came as a side dish!

While I was eating the bindaetteok, the noodles we ordered came out quickly.
They said hoe guksu at the Gyeongju Hwangridan-gil restaurant Notjeon Guksu was
really, really delicious, so we ordered it!

Personally, I really enjoyed the hoe guksu!
There was a lot of sashimi, and the noodle portion was also fairly generous.
And I liked that there were lots of vegetables too!!!!!!!!
I also ordered one serving of banquet noodles, but after tasting it after the hoe guksu,
it felt rather bland..!
Also, Notjeon Guksu’s hoe guksu went so well with the bindaetteok.
I ate well :-D
