After watching Second Husband and craving samgyeopsal so much, I ran straight to this barbecue place on my way home from work..!

They say the food you already know is the scariest, and especially when I see samgyeopsal mukbangs or samgyeopsal, I end up wanting it so badly.

The Deokssambol Kimchi Samgyeop place near Apgujeong Station There weren’t many people here, but it was so, so, so nice because it wasn’t noisy.

Even though it was dinner time, there weren’t many people at this Apgujeong samgyeopsal restaurant!

Whenever I go to a barbecue place, there are usually a lot of people having company dinners, so it gets really noisy, but this place was truly quiet and nice.

They turned on the grill and put the kimchi on first. At first I wondered why they put up so much kimchi, but of course... there was a reason^^

There were also many kinds of sauces you could eat with the samgyeopsal. Still, I always go with ssamjang :D

The basic side dishes at this Apgujeong Station samgyeopsal restaurant came with garlic, ssamjang, and sauces!

Green onion salad, pickled deodeok leaves, lettuce wraps, radish wraps, and rice cake wraps

I really enjoyed rice cake wraps when I ate bossam at Wonhalmeoni Bossam, but at Deokssam Sidae, you just grill those rice cakes and eat them!

Maybe because it’s a stone plate, it seemed to heat up quickly. And the amount of meat also seemed larger compared to other samgyeopsal places!

While eating samgyeopsal, we also grilled the rice cake wraps that came as a basic side dish.

If you run out of rice cake wraps, they’ll refill them too :)

When I eat wraps, I tend to put in a lot of different things, but samgyeopsal wraps are always good no matter when I eat them..ㅠㅠ..

The samgyeopsal also had a good balance of fat and lean meat, so it seemed even more delicious!!!!!

If you put meat on a grilled rice cake wrap, it’s really delicious, and the texture is so fun too! The meat feels springy, while the rice cake wrap is chewy. Hehe

In the end, we ordered one more serving of samgyeopsal..! I also understood why they had given so much kimchi from the startㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The kimchi was really delicious, so I kept eating it..! Grilling delicious kimchi in samgyeopsal fat makes it even better, you knowㅠ.ㅠ

By the time we finished the samgyeopsal, we even ordered fried rice and came away having eaten properly at this Apgujeong Station restaurant, Deokssam Sidae!

Somehow, I feel like I’ll end up going here often. Thanks for the meal :-)
