Yangpyeong River Market, held on the third Saturday and Sunday of every month!
Because it only opens once a month, there are lots of market stalls,
and lots of people too, which made Muno-ri River Market feel lively and warm.
These days, flea markets are opening all over the place,
but Yangpyeong River Market is already so well known that there were tons of people there.
It felt like we had to wait a long time from far away at the entrance before going in. ㅠ.ㅠ

When I went there, parking was surprisingly difficult..ㅠㅠ
Since it was the weekend, and Yangpyeong is on the outskirts of Seoul,
it seemed like a lot of people came for a day trip and a drive,
because there were really so many people!!!!!
It felt like everyone who came to Yangpyeong came here.,.ㅎ.ㅎ

I couldn’t decide where to look first, so I just walked around wherever my feet took me!
From homegrown produce to crafts,
household goods, and food, there was so much variety.
While looking around Yangpyeong River Market, it was nice to be able to buy high-quality seasonal foods.
It feels more reliable than ingredients bought at a supermarket or traditional market, right?

I walked around here and there and had a hot dog too!
It was a hot dog made with Cheorwon Odae rice.
It has a similar feel to Myeongrang Hotdog, but I think it was even chewier than that, hehe.
Also, one of the fun parts of coming out like this is eating a snack like this!!!!!!!!
Odae rice hot dog 3,000 won
Cheese hot dog 3,000 won
One-piece hot dog 2,000 won

At first, the sellers at Muno-ri River Market in Yangpyeong were only local Yangpyeong residents,
but as word spread, I heard that many people from other regions also applied to be sellers and came.
So it seems like the market has grown a lot bigger and more diverse than other markets.
From a visitor’s point of view, the more varied the products are,
the better it seems,,ㅎㅎ,,,

I heard that sellers for Muno-ri River Market can apply through
the cafe linked above.
There are also set days for submitting participation applications,
so I think you can just check the cafe announcements!

While looking around at various things, I found a plate I really liked,
but I hesitated because the price seemed a little high....
I came back after only thinking about it, but now I can’t stop thinking about it—what do I do!!!!!!!
I think I need to go back to Yangpyeong again..ㅜ.ㅜ

Anyway, I had a fish-shaped bun first!

There are also so many kinds of vegetables and greens, like wild greens that were grown themselves.
When I visited Yangpyeong,
there were spinach, shepherd’s purse, Jerusalem artichoke, dried taro stems, roasted peanuts,
sansuyu, red pepper powder, and so much more.
I bought shepherd’s purse and glutinous corn tea here.

I was heading to go eat a meal,
so I only got to taste a little bit of the napa cabbage pancake,,,!
I kept looking around and wondering whether to buy things or not,
then ended up just coming back, but I want to go again someday when the weather is warm,
in spring or around autumn.
