I Went to the 2nd Branch of Seongmin Lamb Skewers in SNU Entrance Sharoosugil!

These days, because of the coronavirus, it feels a bit much to go somewhere far away, so I went to a lamb skewer place in Sharoosugil!

Seongmin Lamb Skewers is apparently famous around the SNU Entrance area too.

It was my first meal out in a while, and there were so many people there that it made the virus feel irrelevant..!

When I went to Seongmin Lamb Skewers Branch 2, the tables were almost full,

and not long after that, it was completely packed.

Seongmin Lamb Skewers Branch 2 is located near the entrance of Sharoosugil, which you enter from the SNU Entrance side.

It’s on a street where lots of people pass by, so it’s easy to find. I heard there’s another one besides Branch 2 in Sharoosugil,

which might be the main branch(?)

The basic side dishes for the Sharoosugil lamb skewer place were pickled radish, onion, ssamjang,

Chinese-style mustard greens, and pickled radish, and extra side dishes were self-service.

There was a set menu that included 2 servings of lamb skewers + sweet and sour pork + a drink.

I guess they made it as a set menu because a lot of people probably order this combination.

It’s a shame I couldn’t take a photo of the menu..!

If I remember correctly, 2 servings of lamb skewers, sweet and sour pork, and a drink came to about 34,000 won.

The lamb skewers we ordered came out quickly,

and we started grilling right away!!!

All ready to eat!

At this Sharoosugil favorite, Seongmin Lamb Skewers, the lamb didn’t smell very strong, and it was so good.

Even after a lot of the fat had melted off, it was still moist and tender.

Sometimes lamb skewers can have a strong lamb smell, but Seongmin Lamb Skewers was clean-tasting, which I liked.

You know that 2 servings of lamb skewers add up to quite a lot once you start eating, right?

Usually, when you eat lamb skewers and sweet and sour pork too, I remember the price being pretty high,

but at this SNU Entrance favorite, Seongmin Lamb Skewers Branch 2,

the price didn’t seem that high either.

You know lamb skewers should be eaten with sweet and sour pork too, right?

Unlike the sweet and sour pork at other lamb skewer restaurants, this one had a bit more of a spicy flavor,

so it was nice to eat without feeling greasy.

Since lamb skewers can start to feel heavy if you keep eating them,

if the sweet and sour pork is also greasy, you get tired of it quicklyㅠㅠ

From the lamb skewers to the sweet and sour pork, I was so satisfied.
