Hello, this is Yonsei First Plastic Surgery.
Recently, I shared preventive measures for COVID-19 (coronavirus), and today I’d like to explain how to wear a mask properly.
Because it is a highly contagious virus, a mask has now become an essential item wherever you go. But did you know that a mask is effective only when worn properly?
▲ COVID-19 prevention tips post ▲

As of March 5, 2020, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has reached 5,766 and continues to rise day by day.
It is said this is because testing is becoming much more widely and quickly available.
Still, the most important thing of all is not becoming infected with the virus, right?
Please check the proper way to wear a mask,
and help prevent viral infection!

How to wear a mask properly
- Choose a mask that fits the size of your face
and wear it so it fits snugly against your face.
- If you place a towel or tissue underneath, the seal becomes weaker
and performance decreases, so please use the mask by itself.
- Do not touch the outer surface after putting on the mask.
- Do not reuse a mask that has been used once.
*Even for filter-replacement masks, the filter is disposable,
so please replace it after use.

Precautions when wearing a mask
- Do not wear a regular mask over another mask
- Do not arbitrarily alter the shape of the mask
- When removing it, hold the straps and take it off
