BHC Gold King Combo, the new menu item—I tried it too!

A little while ago, I posted about Mexicana’s new Buldak Chicken menu,

and today I’m going to write a quick post about BHC’s new Gold King menu :D

Because of the COVID issue, it feels a little worrying to go out to eat,

and I think I’ve ordered delivery food a lot since last month.

I wanted to try BHC Gold King after seeing it on TV commercials,

and I had a feeling the visuals and taste would be similar to Kyochon Honey Combo.

BHC Gold King came in three options: whole chicken, wings, and combo,

and I ordered the Gold King Combo. The moment I opened the chicken,

the aroma that came out was really nice...! The clear difference from

Honey Combo is that the chicken pieces are bigger.

Honey Combo is really delicious too, but one thing I found disappointing

was that there weren’t many side menu items.

On the other hand, BHC has a lot of side menu items like cheese balls

and so-tteok, so I tend to prefer it.

First of all, the visuals and aroma were a total pass,,ㅠㅠ,,

And the Gold King Combo also felt similar to Honey Combo,

but different in its own way. It had a savory soy sauce flavor,

with a hint of sweetness too, and it was a full-on celebration of umami.

BHC’s new Gold King Combo looks like it would be great as a snack with beer!

And when you order a combo, it can sometimes feel like the portion is small,

but this one really had a lotㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

There were several large chicken drumsticks too!!

I like dark meat too, but I prefer drumsticks and wings more

(meaning I like all of them..)

and I really enjoyed this meal at the time.. Chicken is still best when eaten warm,

of course, but the outside was crispy and the inside was moist,,ㅠㅠ

It had the perfect crispy-outside, juicy-inside texture!!

I think I’ll order BHC Gold King Combo often!

The portion was generous, and it suited my taste perfectly, which was great.

I also liked that the chicken pieces were bigㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ

I think it would be good to try when you’re craving sweet-and-savory chicken. ​
