Hello. This is Ruo Plastic Surgery.
Following the facelift post we shared earlier,
today we’ll take some time to look at the precautions
before and after facelift and lifting procedures.

People of all ages and genders
have been showing interest in lifting and facelifts these days,
and we hope this post from Ruo
will be very helpful to you.

First,
after the procedure, you should consciously
keep your upper body elevated in daily life.

On days 2 to 3 after the procedure, swelling
usually peaks.
If swelling management is not handled properly during this period,
swelling may become worse or last longer,
so please! be sure to rest
with your upper body elevated.

Second, distinguish between compresses as well!!
For the first two days after the procedure, use cold compresses
to suppress swelling as much as possible,
and after about 4 to 5 days, once things have stabilized,
use warm compresses to promote blood circulation
and help reduce swelling more effectively.

After the procedure, to prevent the lifting threads
connected to the cheeks from breaking,
you should avoid chewy foods.

In the same vein, when washing your face or doing compresses, massage, and so on,
please be careful to avoid damage and be cautious! Be extra cautious!

As with all surgeries and procedures,
alcohol and smoking increase inflammation markers
and reduce the body’s ability to recover,
so please refrain as much as possible.

Also, intense exercise may cause the threads to break or
generate heat inside the body and reduce the effect,
so even if it is difficult, please endure for at least 2 weeks!

For one month after the procedure, even if it is uncomfortable,
you should avoid consciously opening your mouth wide or yawning.

As mentioned in the similar context of eating chewy foods,
this can cause damage to the lifting threads or skin tissue,
so even if it is inconvenient,
please keep it in mind consciously!

Facelift surgery is almost 100%,
and for lifting procedures as well, the tightening band provided when necessary
serves to prevent the skin from sagging,
so even though it may be uncomfortable and inconvenient,
you must wear it.

This can be seen in a similar context to the intense exercise mentioned above.
Hot heat and the ingredients in chemicals used during dyeing and perming processes
can worsen our skin’s wounds.

Please avoid the three things above as much as possible for at least one month!

Today we looked at precautions before and after facelift and lifting procedures.
Post-procedure care is just as important as the procedure itself.
In particular, facelift procedures require even more of it,

Our Ruo Plastic Surgery has more than 10 years of know-how,
and many professional staff members in the clinic are devoted to caring for
customers who have undergone procedures.

That concludes
Ruo Plastic Surgery, where you can receive excellent procedures along with thorough aftercare.

Thank you.
