Things to follow before nose surgery!

The oxygen saturation monitor is usually attached to a fingernail or toenail.

If you have manicure or pedicure polish on, it may cause errors in checking breathing during surgery, so for accurate measurements, you must remove it before coming in.

Also, if you have metal piercings or earrings, there is a risk of burns from electric shock during surgery, so you must remove them before surgery.

If you regularly take medication or health supplements, be sure to let us know in advance before surgery.

Aspirin and red ginseng can thin the blood and cause excessive bleeding during surgery.

You should stop taking any medications or health supplements at least one week before surgery.

Because nose surgery is performed under sedation anesthesia, fasting before surgery is essential.

If you have not fasted and there is food in your stomach, vomiting or aspiration pneumonia may occur during surgery.

For safety, you must fast for at least 4 hours beforehand, including water.

Drinking alcohol and smoking increase the risk of side effects after surgery.

It is best to stop smoking and drinking alcohol at least one week before surgery.

Smoking itself reduces peripheral blood circulation, so it can cause inflammation or interfere with scar healing.

For this reason, you must strictly avoid smoking and drinking alcohol for at least 1 week before surgery and for 1 month after surgery.
