Hello, this is Luho Plastic Surgery.
The nose, which is located in the middle of the face, can create a strong impression and an aged appearance if the balance is off.
It can also make the midface and even the overall length of the face look longer.
Today, we would like to introduce a long nose rhinoplasty case in which a flat, long nose was improved into a more refined line.

This photo was taken and posted with the patient's consent,
and surgical results and recovery processes may vary from person to person.
Before long nose rhinoplasty at Sinsa Station
Looking at the condition before surgery,
-
The tip of the nose was slightly drooping toward the mouth (long nose)
-
The bridge was relatively low compared to the length of the nose
The patient had a long nose, but because the bridge was low,
the nose tip was relatively more emphasized,
creating the impression that it looked longer and more drooped.
The facial proportions did not match the nose length,
which made it look longer and gave an older impression, causing concern.
We focused on correcting the shape of the nasal tip cartilage
and designing the overall balance.

and surgical results and recovery processes may vary from person to person.
What are the effects of long nose rhinoplasty?
Long nose rhinoplasty can achieve both aesthetic changes and functional improvement.
If, like the patient above, the tip of the nose is drooping and looks long,
a clearer effect can be expected.
The advantages of long nose rhinoplasty are as follows.
|
---
Improved facial proportions: lifting the nasal tip can make the overall impression look shorter and more compact
Younger-looking impression: an elevated nasal tip creates a fresh and lively image
A more refined line: changes the nose line into a cleaner, more polished look
Side-profile change: completes a sophisticated silhouette from a 45-degree angle
Looking at the patient's after images,
a younger impression was achieved with natural proportions,
rather than an artificial-looking change.

Luho Plastic Surgery at Sinsa Station,
Long Nose Rhinoplasty Method
At our clinic, depending on each patient's nose type,
we identify the most suitable surgical method
and perform the nose surgery accordingly.
- Alar cartilage resection
- After partially removing the upper wing portion of the nasal tip cartilage (alar cartilage),
the cartilage is tied together
- Septal cartilage support
- A support is placed with septal cartilage in the columella area
to hold up the nasal tip cartilage
- Muscle resection
- If a muscle pulls the nasal tip downward,
the muscle is cut to correct the length of the nasal tip
- Septal cartilage resection
- If the septal cartilage is long,
the end portion of that cartilage is cut
- Recurrence-prevention alar cartilage plasty
- If the skin at the nasal tip is stretched and makes the nose look long,
the stretched skin tissue inside the columella is removed
to reduce the length of the nose
Even with the same long nose, each person’s appearance is different,
so we establish an accurate plan through 3D-CT.
Considering the bridge height, length, skin thickness, and more,
we carry out the procedure so that natural results can be achieved.

Long nose rhinoplasty at Sinsa Station,
If careful selection is needed
The nose is the central part of the face
and has a small but complex structure.
In particular, the key to long nose rhinoplasty is
to lift the drooping nose tip
with a design that matches the proportions of your face.
By setting an angle that does not make the nose look long
and creating a refined line,
a natural and clear impression is completed.
Luho Plastic Surgery
creates a harmonious nose
by using methods appropriate to the anatomical structure
and utilizing autologous tissue.
If you need not only long nose rhinoplasty at Sinsa Station
but also nose surgery tailored to each type,
it would be a good idea to have a consultation.
