in which the patient decided to undergo revision rhinoplasty

The patient underwent nose surgery 9 years ago.

Over time after the surgery, the nasal line changed,

and the patient decided to undergo revision rhinoplasty

to improve the bulbous appearance of the nose.

Surgical Plan☝️

1. Improve the nasal line that changed after the surgery 9 years ago

• After analyzing how the nasal line had changed over time, we planned revision surgery in a harmonious direction.

2. Design of the nasal bridge line and starting point

• Taking into consideration the connection from the area between the eyebrows to the nasal tip, we adjusted the starting point and designed a smooth nasal bridge line.

3. Nasal tip design to improve the bulbous nose

• We sought to refine the blunt, bulbous nose while considering the width and shape of the nasal tip.

• The design aimed for a natural line from both the front and side views.

4. Revision rhinoplasty with function also taken into consideration

• The surgery was performed with the goal of improving not only the appearance but also functional aspects.

Surgical Results✨

• The nose still had the rounded, wide appearance characteristic of a bulbous nose.

• Because the nasal tip was short, the overall proportions were less balanced and the nose lacked dimensional definition.

2 weeks after surgery

• As the width of the nasal tip gradually became more refined, the blunt impression characteristic of a bulbous nose began to soften.

• The direction of the previously short-looking nasal tip also improved.

• A more balanced line was created.

3 weeks after surgery

• As the residual swelling subsided, the definition of the nasal tip became more distinct.

• The nasal tip and alar region became more refined, creating a slimmer line.

• The nasal tip and columella connected smoothly, also improving the short-looking appearance.

• The width of the nasal tip became more refined, and the line from the nasal bridge to the tip connected smoothly.
