Following Typhoon Trami, Typhoon Kong-rey has formed.
Trami caused major damage in Japan.
Typhoon No. 25, Kong-rey, is forecast to make landfall on the Korean Peninsula, following a path similar to Trami, which crossed the Japanese archipelago.
Unlike earlier forecasts, Kong-rey is making a sharp turn toward the Korean Peninsula, and it is expected to strike Jeju Island head-on over the weekend before reaching the Honam region.
As Jeju Island and the Honam region are included in the typhoon’s expected path,
concern is growing that it will cause significant damage.
Please prepare for typhoon damage in advance by checking for gas leaks and electrical facilities, taping windows, and taking other measures to block potential major damage.

Breast cancer, which ranks second among cancers in women in Korea,
has treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and mastectomy surgery.
Because breast cancer often has no noticeable symptoms at first, it is frequently discovered late after the early stage has passed, and mastectomy surgery is eventually performed.
Many women who have lost their breasts, a symbol of healthy and beautiful femininity, after mastectomy for breast cancer, have expressed a sense of loss and are going through difficult days in painful lives.
With that in mind, today at Grace Plastic Surgery, we would like to introduce breast reconstruction.

Breast reconstruction is a surgery that recreates the breast lost through mastectomy to resemble the original breast, offering you a hopeful life.
Unlike university hospitals, customized services such as patient-centered consultations and surgery reservations are provided, and with the differentiated Neo Pocket surgical method, we strive to bring great happiness to many patients by delivering not only a natural shape but also a soft, real-breast-like feel.
As it is not an easy surgery, a great deal of know-how in breast surgery is needed.
Dr. Choi Moon-seop, the chief director of Grace Plastic Surgery, brings you a beautiful new life through his extensive know-how and surgical experience in breast surgery.

At Grace, breast reconstruction is completed in about three months for the second surgery, which involves inserting a teardrop-shaped implant, thanks to extensive experience, and through the Neo Pocket technique, the risk of side effects such as capsular contracture and implant rotation is low.
In addition, although the cost of proceeding with reconstruction surgery after cancer treatment was a burden, since April 2015, under the strengthened coverage plan for the four major serious diseases, breast reconstruction due to breast cancer has been covered by National Health Insurance, significantly reducing the financial burden.

At Grace Plastic Surgery, we introduced breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery today in order to help solve these concerns.
Dr. Choi Moon-seop, the chief director of Grace Plastic Surgery, is a regular member of the Breast Plastic Surgery Study Group of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Through active participation in and lectures at academic societies and conferences, he broadens and shares his academic knowledge of breast surgery, and with his long-standing know-how in breast surgery and rich surgical experience across various cases ranging from breast augmentation to breast revision surgery and breast reconstruction, he is doing his best to deliver the best possible results that both doctors and patients can be satisfied with.
