On September 2, 2018, the 2018 Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons Botulinum-Filler Study Group Academic Symposium was held at the Yuhan Hall of the Avison Biomedical Research Center at Yonsei University.

This symposium featured anatomy lectures using practical and vivid clinical photos, along with lectures and discussions by experienced speakers.
Prepared with the belief that a great deal of expert-level knowledge is needed in the non-invasive fields of fillers, toxins, and thread lifting, the symposium covered not only conceptual lectures and treatment methods but also how to respond to possible side effects.

At this symposium, which became a meaningful academic forum, Director Choi Moon-seop of Grace Plastic Surgery served as chair for Session 2, "Sunken Upper Eyelid" (depressed upper eyelid — filler and fat grafting procedures), and gave a presentation in Session 4, "Thread" (thread lifting) on the topic of "Cranial suspension rhytidectomy with cog thread" (incisional lifting using Mint thread).

Through ongoing academic activities related to thread lifting, the medical staff at Grace Plastic Surgery share and discuss medical knowledge, work hard to acquire medical expertise and improve their skills, and conduct seminars for doctors in Korea and abroad.
These efforts are intended to provide patients with high-quality medical services and highly satisfying postoperative results.
Grace Plastic Surgery will continue to stay at the forefront of the anti-aging field through steady research and academic activities.
