Mini Lower Blepharoplasty Depending on the Degree of Under-Eye Sagging

As each year passes and we get older, the body’s functions also decline.

In mini lower blepharoplasty, there may not be enough extra skin to perform under-eye fat repositioning, making it difficult to improve fine wrinkles, and if someone feels burdened by the lower blepharoplasty procedure or recovery, the simpler mini lower blepharoplasty may be more appropriate.

If there is a little skin sagging when under-eye fat repositioning would be difficult, and the sagging is not enough to justify cutting out the entire under-eye skin with lower blepharoplasty, mini lower blepharoplasty can be considered.

Mini lower blepharoplasty is performed by making an incision on the inside of the eye, repositioning the under-eye fat, and making a minimal incision on the outside of the eye to reposition the muscles around the eyes.

Because of this, compared with lower blepharoplasty, the procedure and recovery period are shorter, allowing a quicker return to daily life.

When improving under-eyes that have become loose and saggy due to aging, one may consider only under-eye fat repositioning or lower blepharoplasty, but by visiting a specialized under-eye surgery clinic and fully examining and considering each patient’s individual under-eye condition, it is possible to expect smoother under-eye skin with an appropriate design and plan.
