To achieve the best results while using your prosthesis, it is important to be aware of a few precautions. Below is guidance on precautions after using a prosthesis, so we recommend reading it carefully.

Please be careful when chewing food
-
Do not chew hard foods for 24 hours after bonding. The adhesive takes about 24 hours to fully set.
-
Prostheses are not as strong as your natural teeth. Therefore, you should avoid very hard foods (ice, bones, opening bottle caps, etc.).
-
Very sticky foods (tanghulu) can cause the prosthesis to come off, so please avoid them.

You may experience hypersensitivity.
Do not worry about mild sensitivity to hot or cold foods. The rapid temperature transfer from the prosthesis may temporarily startle the tooth nerve (congested state), and it will gradually disappear over several weeks. Usually, the 3 to 4 weeks after wearing the prosthesis are considered an observation period. If the same condition lasts longer than 6 weeks or becomes severe, please visit the clinic.

Brushing and flossing
For the optimal lifespan of your prosthesis, brush and floss after meals and before bedtime. If necessary, you may also use fluoride.

You should visit regularly.
It is very important to visit at 6-month intervals. If problems around the prosthesis are found early, they can be easily resolved, but if too much time has passed, the treatment may need to be redone or other more difficult treatment may be necessary.

Please visit the clinic in the following cases
-
Mobility, looseness, or lifting of the prosthesis
-
Sensitivity to cold food
-
Strange odor from the prosthesis area (medicine smell or metal smell)
-
Fracture of the prosthesis
-
Sensitivity to pressure
