Who is eligible for implant insurance coverage?
It applies to citizens aged 65 or older,
and to health insurance subscribers and dependents.

What are the conditions for implant insurance coverage?
The teeth eligible for implant coverage must be in a partially edentulous state
(a state in which only some teeth are missing in the upper or lower jaw),
and coverage applies when prosthetic restoration is performed with a non-precious metal ceramic crown
using a separate implant fixture.
*In the case of complete edentulism
(a state in which there are no natural teeth at all),
insurance coverage applies to dentures rather than implants.
Implant health insurance coverage is limited to two implants per person for life,
and it can be used together with partial dentures.

*How much will the cost burden be?
When insurance is applied, 30% of the total medical cost is borne by the patient,
and the remaining 70% can be covered by health insurance.
For other medical aid recipients, regarding implant insurance,
the out-of-pocket cost is
10% for Type 1 beneficiaries
20% for Type 2 beneficiaries.

*What are the exclusions from implant insurance coverage?
Additional procedures that may be added during implant treatment,
such as bone grafting (bone transplant) and sinus lift procedures,
are generally not covered by insurance. Please keep this in mind.
