Are you considering nose surgery?
Then what kind of mood or image do you prefer? 😀
Today, we’ll talk about the “moderately glamorous” nose that is currently in style and widely discussed.
Q. Glamorous vs. natural
What differences are there depending on the nose shape?
Honestly, this is a very
hard topic.
Natural and glamorous
can seem like
concepts that are hard to coexist.
It feels like saying
“long and short” at the same time.
In my view,
glamorous means
something with clearer contours
and a stronger contrast.
Rather than simply being high,
it can be described as a nose that stands out because of the difference in height
and its beautiful angles.
And
the opposite of glamorous
is not necessarily natural,
but when naturalness is paired with glamour,
it is thought of as something
that does not look artificial.
However, it is difficult to satisfy both at once.
Q. What kind of nose do the people who visit you tend to prefer?
In my opinion,
more than a very glamorous look,
there seem to be many customers who prefer something a bit more natural.
These days, people tend to search a lot for images of those who have had surgery before coming in,
so I think many people may visit because they believe my style is closer to the natural side.
Q. Glamorous nose vs. natural nose
Are there differences in the surgical materials used?
The materials used also differ depending on the desired style.
If someone wants a relatively higher
and more glamorous look,
a firm and large material such as rib cartilage is often used.
On the other hand,
if someone wants a natural and rounder look,
soft materials such as ear cartilage may be used.
The materials can be chosen differently depending on your preferences
and the result you hope to achieve.
Q. Which celebrities do you think have a glamorous nose vs. a natural nose?
In my opinion,
people like Shin Se-kyung, Karina, and Winter seem to have noses that fall into the more glamorous category,
whereas people like Bae Suzy,
from my perspective,
have noses that feel very natural.
(Of course, I’m not saying that any of them have had surgery!)
It shows that the idea of a beautiful nose,
or a nose that suits oneself,
can really vary from person to person.
Q. What are your thoughts on the “moderately glamorous” nose,
which is both natural and glamorous?
My own interpretation is
that even if there is a fair amount of height,
if it does not look awkward,
that is a good nose,
and I strive to make it that way.
We discuss and decide together on the kind of pretty nose you have in mind,
or the feeling you want,
so we can move toward a more satisfying result.
Actually, one of the hardest requests for me is
“make it pretty on your own”
“make it natural on your own.”
Of course, I can do it on my own,
but the pretty nose I have in mind
may not necessarily be the nose the customer likes.
For example,
it helps a lot if you bring in many photos of noses you want.
If you don’t have any photos you like,
it is still helpful to bring photos you dislike.
If we cannot decide on the direction we want to go,
then at least you are defining the range of what you do not want,
which gives me something to be careful about,
and I feel that it is a good way to get closer to a more satisfying result.
Q. Besides that,
is there anything else you pay special attention to?
This may be a personal preference,
but generally,
I think the shape of the nose tip is much more important.
In my opinion,
matching the nose tip as closely as possible to the shape you want
is my top priority.
The bridge is used to create contrast with the tip
or to match the overall slope and line.
Of course, I also consider the overall balance,
but because the nose tip is more difficult,
I use the tip to create contrast,
and I think the bridge is relatively easier to adjust.
