Many people feel uncomfortable because of a runny nose after rhinoplasty.

The way to handle it differs depending on the stage of recovery.

I will explain how to deal with a runny nose after rhinoplasty.

For about 1 to 2 weeks after surgery,

Even if you have a runny nose, please avoid blowing your nose forcefully!

It is better to gently wipe away any nasal discharge that comes out.

The surgical area is still healing, so you need to be careful.

After about a month,

blowing your nose forcefully is generally not a big problem.

Until then, it is better to blow your nose carefully.

The same goes for picking your nose.

Right after surgery,

it is difficult because the nostrils are not wide enough,

but

it is better to wait until the scars have fully softened and the nostrils have widened enough before picking your nose.

At that point, it is okay even if you do it without putting too much force on your nose.
