When and by what criteria should you choose plastic surgery?

A very realistic concern about plastic surgery

'When is the best time to do it?'

'By what criteria should I choose?'

I’d like to talk about those questions.

People often say it’s better to do it as soon as possible,

but since plastic surgery is not an essential treatment,

it is hard to say that you must do it quickly no matter what.

However, if you have already decided to have surgery

and have found a method that suits you well,

the story changes.

If you are going to do it anyway,

waiting another five years

will not suddenly bring a dramatically better surgical method.

If you have found the method that suits you,

doing it sooner can actually increase satisfaction,

and if you have thought it through and made your decision,

doing it sooner can lead to better results.

But in plastic surgery, isn’t 'decision' just as important as 'timing'?

Especially these days, many people try to blindly follow styles that are popular,

and that is really dangerous.

If you chase trends too much or

make a hasty decision to 'do it exactly like a certain celebrity,'

you are highly likely to regret it.

Because trends change over time,

and your own preferences can change too.

A style that was popular five years ago

may look outdated now.

If your taste changes later or trends change,

you may end up needing another procedure anyway.

That is why I really emphasize

'thoughtful consideration' to my patients.

There are two main things

you should think about deeply.

First,

it is your own internal motivation:

'Do I really want this surgery?'

Is it truly what I want?

Or is it because of other people’s views or pressure?

Second,

it is understanding objectively

what suits me.

Not what is trendy,

but what kind of design harmonizes with my face?

I think you need specific concerns

that go beyond simply 'wanting to look prettier.'

If you find what suits you well,

that becomes the 'best timing.'

Trends are temporary,

but beauty that suits you lasts a long time.

remember that in plastic surgery, 'direction' is more important than 'speed,'

and that enough thoughtful consideration

creates results you won’t regret,
