A first impression is a very important factor in human relationships.
Although what makes a “good impression” is quite subjective,
it seems that people generally tend to prefer faces that give a “gentle and cute” feeling
or a “refined” feeling.
The eyes are one of the most important areas in determining a person’s impression.
In particular, whether the outer corners of the eyes appear to be turned up
or turned down has a major effect on the impression.
Even without double eyelids,
there is a tendency to see eyes as kind because they look longer,
but if they are too long, they can also give a sharp impression.
For those who are concerned about drooping eyes,
this can be adjusted with double eyelid surgery.
Depending on whether the shape becomes wider toward the back
or slopes down more naturally,
it can make the impression softer or more refined.
Even a single double eyelid line can change the impression.
The nose is closely related to a “youthful” image.
If the bridge of the nose is low like a child’s
and the tip is slightly upturned,
it gives a younger-looking impression.
As people age, the tip of the nose tends to drop,
making the nose look longer
or giving the nose tip a downward direction,
and in such cases, the person may look more mature
or older.
The mouth changes the impression depending on whether there is protruding mouth or a prognathic jaw.
A protruding mouth can make the chin look small and younger,
but a prognathic jaw can make a person look older.
Recently, there has been a trend toward preferring a short chin
so that the jaw is not emphasized.
In other words, people prefer youthful-looking faces
and faces with a shorter lower jaw.

What I consider
as the “most important surgery for determining an impression” is
first, “ptosis correction.”
If a person looks bad because they do not have enough strength to open their eyes,
ptosis correction can bring a dramatic change.
In the case of the nose,
women with a hump on the bridge of the nose may look masculine or strong,
but smoothing it out can make the impression much softer.
As for face shape,
a square face can look angry or give a bad impression,
so improving it to a slimmer face shape can improve the impression.

These days, there are many expressions such as “interview pass face” and “in-law meeting turned-away face.”
An interview pass face generally seems to refer to someone who is beautiful or handsome,
but in common, it seems to be a “smiling face.”
The outer corners of the eyes are open and clear,
yet they do not look sharp,
and overall they give a bright and neat impression.
In women,
a slight glimpse of double eyelids can add a refined feeling as well.
On the other hand,
a face said to be “turned away at the in-law meeting” may seem that way because of strong makeup
or an exaggerated hairstyle.
In the end, more than the beauty of the facial features themselves,
what seems to have a greater effect on the impression is the overall harmony,
the atmosphere and styling,
and facial expressions.
Surgery or procedures can also give a brighter impression,
but
it may be good to remember that dynamic elements,
such as practicing facial expressions in everyday life,
also affect the impression.
I hope you will use this as a reference
and create a brighter, more positive impression.
Thank you. 😀
