Song Hye-kyo’s skincare method for her porcelain-like skin is said to be the milk cleansing method. This is because the calcium, protein, and vitamins in milk are excellent for skin hydration and brightening, and are also effective for removing dead skin cells.
The foundation of skincare is proper cleansing. Cleansing is best done with water, but you can occasionally try using milk, which is good for the skin. Here, we’ll introduce Song Hye-kyo’s milk cleansing method for creating clear skin.

Milk that is good for the skin
Milk is an emulsion in which water and fat are mixed in an ideal ratio. Because it has high viscosity, it adheres well to the skin and provides excellent moisturizing effects. Milk contains vitamins that supply nutrients and make the skin more elastic, and its minerals form a protective barrier on the skin to prevent damage. It also helps create collagen, making the skin firmer, helping to prevent wrinkles, and effectively removing old dead skin cells.

Milk cleansing method
① Before cleansing with milk, wash your face thoroughly.
② Warm the milk to match the skin temperature (36°C), soak a cotton pad in it, and gently apply it to your face.
③ Carefully massage the entire face gently and thoroughly.
④ After massaging with the milk, wipe it off with lukewarm water.
⑤ Finish with cold water to close the pores.
※ Precautions for milk cleansing
If milk remains on the skin and is exposed to ultraviolet rays, it can cause freckles or dark spots, so after cleansing with milk, it should be wiped off thoroughly.
