Everything About Smooth Spring Exfoliation

On MBC’s Live Today Morning, the Today Morning Lab conducted an experiment using different types of exfoliants.
After checking the skin condition and moisture level before exfoliation and then checking them again after exfoliation, we compared what changes occurred.

What does the skin look like after exfoliation?

The formulation that removed dead skin the best was the scrub type, but it irritated the skin and made it red. After exfoliation, the skin moisture index decreased for all products. So which formulation caused the biggest drop in the moisture index? The scrub type showed the largest decrease in moisture, with the moisture level dropping significantly after exfoliation.
The scrub type removed the most dead skin, but it also caused the biggest drop in moisture and was the most irritating to the skin.
The warm sensation felt during exfoliation! Could there be anything wrong with the skin?
The warm sensation after exfoliation was felt with the scrub and pack types. It happened because excessive irritation caused heat to rise in the skin.
If marks appear from skin warmth, it is a sign that the skin has been strained by excessive irritation, so it is best to use such products with caution.
What if you do not wash thoroughly after exfoliation?

The usage method differs for each type, but what happens if you do not rinse thoroughly after removing it?
If you do not wash off the exfoliant, it can continuously irritate the skin, causing trouble, redness, or pigmentation. That is why after using an exfoliant, you must rinse it off with water for a long time to remove any residue.
What happens to the skin if exfoliants are used continuously?

You are only supposed to remove unnecessary dead skin cells, but if you rub too hard or too much, you end up removing normal skin cells as well. As this continues, the skin can become uneven, inflammatory reactions can occur, fine lines can worsen, and pigmentation may appear later on.
