Mask wearing and working from home, which have become part of everyday life, have opened up more treatment options for women. Because masks mean not wearing makeup, standards for bare skin have actually risen, and there is less worry about treatment marks being noticed at work. We asked a dermatologist which procedures are most commonly requested these days.

I don’t want red cheeks—laser treatment for facial redness
"Due to prolonged mask wearing, the number of rosacea patients with facial redness has increased. If redness refers to the face easily flushing red due to emotional changes or temperature differences, rosacea is a condition in which these symptoms repeatedly improve and worsen and appear as persistent erythema and telangiectasia.
Papules that look like acne may also form on the face, and the skin surface can become hard or sting, which makes it a very stressful condition. Laser treatment is often performed together with oral or topical medication because the results are much better. We use combination treatment with Perfect Laser, Icon Laser, and Excel V Laser, which constrict blood vessels or normalize the tissue around the vessels. It is usually performed at 1- to 2-week intervals for five or more sessions, but the interval and number of sessions may vary slightly depending on the skin condition."
Treatment time for facial redness is within 30 minutes, and the cost is in the 100,000 to 300,000 won range.
