The case participant's concern!

Sagging skin & a larger-looking face create the difference between a youthful appearance and an aged look. What is it that makes this difference?

As aging progresses, overall bodily functions decline. The reason is 바로 "collagen."

When our body lacks collagen, it shows skin sagging, wrinkles, and loose skin. Collagen is distributed throughout the body, including the skin, bones, blood vessels, eyes, and teeth. As such, if our body lacks collagen, problems can occur in every organ.

This collagen determines our skin's elasticity. Collagen in the dermis must be present properly for the skin to stay elastic, prevent wrinkles, and make the skin firm. As such, when collagen decreases or loses its function due to aging, it can cause reduced skin elasticity, sagging skin, and wrinkles.

Because the collagen that supports the skin decreases as we age, skin tissue becomes looser and the force supporting the skin weakens. In fact, if you compare collagen by age group, you can see that people in their 50s have a looser collagen structure than people in their 20s.

If it accumulates continuously over a long period, it affects pigmentation as well as reduced elasticity. This is because ultraviolet rays destroy collagen in the body and cause reduced elasticity.
